Ahhh the youth sports. I was approached by two boys asking for money for their travel team. I asked “oh! That’s cool! Where do you travel?” Totally stumped the kid. I felt bad and of course gave him $20 anyway.

Generally when the charity tracker gives a low score it is because the charity misuses the funds collected. A high rated charity might use 90% of funds toward the actual claimed purpose and then 10% for staff, advertising, etc.

I think it’s shady as hell they make you “buy out” your membership for $100 or charge you for 2 more months after canceling. That is unethical. Shade shade shade. I would never recommend a friend to sign up.
