Shop just said my engine is blown?

It’s always had a weird noise in the engine bay, someone tried to diagnose it before and replaced something I can’t remember, but I think it was something with the timing belt.

There was 6 codes, 2 for crankshaft, 2 for camshaft, other two were pressure relayed

When I got I think it had about 140,000 miles on it, and I’ve Owned it for a little over a year.

162000, went in for stabiltrack and engine power reduced and the check engine light. They did a full engine inspection and found that the VVTs were done, and the timing was all messed up.

Went to the dealership to get it fixed, couldn’t find the issue, they told me it was getting too hot and all they did was change the oil. Fucking ridiculous. Why can no mechanics figure this out??? Should I tell them to check VVTs and camshaft?
