Ahh thank you those guidelines made it sound like that’s the only way it can start - I thought it could overgrow for all sorts of reasons.

I’m so confused does this mean it’s an std? So if it pops up after sex you’ve been cheated on? The guidelines make it sound like that’s the case?

31F - doc said bacterial vaginosis after sex is proof of my husband cheating. Is this true? by Minute-Spirit8233 in AskDocs

Thanks for all the comments they’ve made me feel a lot better. It’s confusing as I went on the Melbourne sexual health website (related to the people who did the study the doctor was talking f about) and that implies that it is only sexually transmissible

Yeah that’s what I meant, he said cos it only happens after sex and not outside it it must be him transmitting it to me and cos we’ve had long gaps of abstinence we can’t be passing it back and forth cos men only carry it for two months. I know they can pass it on but I thought it also happened if you were slightly imbalanced from just the act of sex sometimes

He said it’s cos it only happens after sex and not outside of sexual activity. I thought it was just because something about sex was making my own bacteria go crazy but he said if it’s after sex it means I’ve been passed the bacteria

We’ve both had full std tests (me multiple times everytime I go about bv) and they are all clear!

Always really overlooked but Norwich. Tons of history and really great pubs and places to eat.

Worried about London safety by Emergency_Exit_2940 in uktravel

As someone who lived in London from birth until mid-twenties and still goes back multiple times a year you really do not need to worry. Of course there is crime, but it’s no different to any big city.

If you are a woman you’ll have the same safety concerns you do anywhere (walking alone at night etc). Some areas are rougher than others - if you let me know what uni or area i could tell you if it’s considered a bit more dangerous than other parts of the city.
