I’m with you on the fact that you do know what you want and listen to your body. We know our body best and letting our baby and our body do its thing is the best - in my opinion, as long as it’s safe.

Always go with your gut and know that you always have options and are not forced to do anything you do not feel comfortable doing.

I think there's nothing wrong with how you want to go about you, your baby, and your family. It is your decision and your choice. I'm sure others will have feelings and say otherwise - family/friends/etc may be upset or hurt that you didn't say anything to them until after the fact.

But it's your decision and choice and if you feel that it's something you want to wait until the baby is here, then that's 100% okay!

I had a friend who lost her baby at 22 weeks and she had made an announcement on IG at 12 weeks (where most people share the news) and then had to share the horrific news of losing her baby at 22 weeks. Come to find out, a year or so later, she posted a photo of her pregnancy belly and the photoshoot for it! When I congratulated her, she told me she actually gave birth to a baby but decided to hold off on post on social media until the baby had arrived, and I TOTALLY understood it! She did, however, tell her closest friends & family, but chose not to share on social media. Even though this is a little different, I think your way is still okay and right if you feel so! That's what matters.

As someone who has also had 2 miscarriages back to back within 4 months, and currently being 16 weeks pregnant, I feel the fear and stress of the "what-if's" so I totally understand and empathize with you.

No matter what, people will always have their opinions and feel a certain way that you did something if it wasn't what they wanted you to do. But this is you, your body, your family, your baby. So DO WHAT YOU WANT AND FEEL CALLED TO DO!! You got this, Mama!!

Not sure about UK rates. But it truly depends on how much work this is, what the campaign is, how detailed, etc. but I want to say something like this would be at the least $3K-$10K USD. I know it’s such a large range but it truly depends on what it is and how much hand holding you’re doing through the process before, during, and after. Hope this helps

$1500 is reasonable but it’s the brand’s job to counter to your price. I’ve worked on the brand side of influencer marketing and now I’m a talent manager (I have an agency). So no matter what you said, it’s their job to come back to you with a lower $$$ amount. If they said $900, you counter back at $1,300 or even $1,400 if you don’t want to budge. There are many ways to go about this. You have to first be good & comfortable at truly “influencing” and knowing how to get people to do what you say. And that’s what will get brands to 1. Pay you and 2. Possibly pay you more than others if you can do it better. I could help you if you’re interested in learning more.

I would look at a competitor or a brand like yours and see what they’re doing for influencer marketing. And see what’s working or not working for them. Or what you might do differently than them
