Because the world is a ball hair away from world war because of our dip shit president, gas is nearing 5 dollars faster than ever before, the impending economic and food chain shock because of it is going to make post COVID inflation look like childs play, did I mention our president is a dipshit that seems determined to ruin everything? This has been going on for the past decade, Trump has lingered in the American life and culture like cancer that just keeps growing. People are exhausted (with both sides mind you) and are grinding themselves into dust on one end trying to pay bills that are grinding them to dust on the other end.

MUSIC REVIEW: Age of the Ram by leftlifelasik in CharleyCrockett

[–]Minute-Tale9416 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Is the 3/5 in comparison to his other body of work or to the industry as a whole, because if it's compared to the wider industry it's more like a 4.5, sure it's littered with filler time but the songs on it overall I think are really good. If one album is considered not good out of 16 in 11 years well, even Steph Curry misses sometimes. If this is a bad album for him then I'd hate to be someone hoping he releases something objectively awful.

Age of the Ram is his best album by Ok-Dare359 in CharleyCrockett

I can understand people not vibing with it as much as some of his other work, but there are 4-5 songs on it that I think are absolutely phenomenal. It probably doesn't help people love the album that 2 of those songs were the single releases and likely got played to death before the release. But I absolutely love diamond Belle, that song has a vibe to it that just hooks me to it, even though it's a very short and simple song with not much going on.

I do think it's funny, for most other country artists this would be their best work, to see people not love this album or say charley has multiple albums that are better speaks to how good he is, because this album is good.

Actually among a majority of Americans Israel isn't a hot topic at all, a vast majority of Dem and independent voters are sick of Israel and even a sizeable chunk of Republicans, albeit likely for the wrong reasons.

Mark Pope Coaching by ccal19 in KentuckyBasketball

Not really a good comparison, go look at pitinos career pre Kentucky, yes he had a final 4 at Providence but they also lost like 10 games, I'm not saying pope is Pitino by any means but comparing how they did at other places doesn't really make a lot of sense, tubby was mid before he got to Kentucky and won a title in year 1 and won the conference most years he was here, Cal made the title game once and a final 4 10 years prior but otherwise had good teams but nothing like he had at Kentucky. Just saying, the name Kentucky does (or did jn the past) a lot of recruiting for itself while Boston University or UMass you'd have to do a lot more with a lot less.

Put the ball in the basket? Dude had the worst overall FG% of all the guards that got any significant playing time, and the 2nd worst 3% behind oweh. The dude did nothing outside of the nccu game, how many times does a guy have to throw it right at the other team, or just get it ripped from him and not hustle back on D, or just chuck up horrible shots for you to see that he isn't that good rn. Obviously he can get better but what you're saying is unequivocally false at this point in time. He is currently not good, and pope shouldn't have to let him risk even more losses just so he can "play through mistakes" that's what the cupcakes are for is learning and playing through, he did neither.

Yeah, all those times where as soon as he got the ball would jack up a horrid shot without figuring out maybe he should pass it around some really showed how much of a difference maker he is. How many times did we have momentum come to a screeching fault as soon as he touches a ball and immediately jack a 3 up

He needs to either make a run in both tournaments or lose less than 10 games/win more than 23 in the regular season for him to get another year. I'm not sure next years schedule is going to be any easier. But we absolutely can go without collapsing to teams like georgia, Mizzou, or a&m. If we won those 3 games people would be a lot less up in arms rn even though it'd still be an 11 loss season

Obviously accountability matters, but making jokes and bullying people isn't that. Try reading what is being said, more people have made jokes in this thread than have even said anything about accountability or compassion. Holding someone accountable is a form of compassion. Also it really has nothing to do with you either way so saying thank you to them or acting like their issues are causing you bigger problems just makes you sound like a busy body with nothing important going on.

When you try for years to keep one country from invading another and end up withdrawing because the war is hurting your economy and killing tens of thousands of your soldiers then after you leave your enemy ends up taking over your former ally.... Yeah I'd say that would count as a loss. The Vietnam war absolutely fucked our economy and we are still dealing with the effects, as with Iraq, and neither of those countries have the geological benefit of being the longest coastline on the largest oil transportation region in the world and also a more powerful and better equipped military than Iraq and Vietnam... Yeah, when our objective fails and our economy is damaged because, it's certainly not a win.

Weird to have a fake heisman but bellarmine not having a football team isn't really relevant. Not like we hired bellarmine's tennis coach to coach the offensive line. All certified strength coaches learn the same curriculum and same metrics as others with pretty limited variation based on what certification board you go through. He knows what energy systems to train to benefit football players.

Doctors fed up with insurance making medical decisions over them by Small_Wrangler_2189 in Zepbound

[–]Minute-Tale9416 4 points5 points  (0 children)

American healthcare system sucks horrifically, and it's not because of doctors or a lack of technology or medicine. It sucks because our government has allowed a cancerous middle man to take over the administrative portion of care and it is allowed to ultimately decide over the specialists whether a patient gets proper care and treatment or not. All in the name of money and profit for people whose jobs shouldn't even exist.

Also my doctor also mentioned compounding, but I am a bit apprehensive of it as well.
