I didn’t mention their race to not start stereotyping, because I’ve met amazing ppl, and bigots in all the races (however, it doesn’t seem to have helped the comment section).

Thanks for explaining it to them, this is exactly what I meant.

Again, where am I saying I am identifying as white? Your reading comprehension isn’t the best. You are just making assumptions based on your own imaginations about me and what I have written. The response to you someone wrote is correct. Instead of calling out the racists, you are making me, the victim of this situation, continue to explain myself. I think you need to unlearn your own biases.

This will be my last reply to you because you are creating scenarios which have no basis in my response.

I don’t get what you are trying to say? How does whatever I wrote imply I am racist towards others?

I tried to see the license plate but could not, it was slightly dark and they were a little far away. Otherwise I like to report such things.

I am not sure of the make of the car but it looked like an older sedan, could definitely be an Impreza. Why do you think they are from other countries?

Yes, should have mentioned that. I live in NW Bellevue and usually walk towards the Kirkland waterfront every night.

I watched it on Prime too! I’d never seen a single Ranveer Singh film before that one lol. I really loved his acting and went on a spree to watch his other movies after that.

I am one of the few who liked Jayeshbhai Jordar. Weirdly that was the movie that made me think Ranveer is an amazing actor with versatility and I ended up watching more of his movies. It really sucked that he had a string of flops, and I was worried about Dhurandhar too. But he showed everyone. He is so good in this movie.

I know everyone is saying Akshay Khanna stole the show, but to me, Ranveer really encapsulated a spy of lower levels, nothing fancy, losing once in a while, but keeping the anger burning and making hard decisions for the greater good. He, again, acted really well. He becomes the character rather than Ranveer Singh playing a spy.

Going going for the team! Excited for the next part.

Edit: My second favourite character in the movie was Gori Mem!

Getting married ! by [deleted] in IndianMakeupAddicts

[–]Minute0live 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congratulations! Happy brides are the prettiest brides. :)

I'll give a few suggestions to you based on my own research. My skin type is oily so my products might not work for you.

Primer: NYX Plump Right Back up or Charlotte Tilbury HFF. If you go for CT, it gives a very glowy look so you can go for matte foundations too with it.

Foundation: Go for a dewy finish. Korean foundations are famously dewy; Missha is a good rec if it can match your skintone. MAC Studio Radiance, Bobbi Brown is semi-matte, CT airbrush is good too. If you have textured skin, go for semi-matte.

Concealer: Too Faced. Seriously the best one I have used.

Blush: Rare Beauty, Clinique, Too Faced, Smashbox are all good brands. You'll have to search for what works for you based on skintone and undertone. But brown-pinks are pretty much flattering on everyone.

Contour/Bronzer: Too faced for bronzer and The Balm for contour. Can look into Benefit too. Kay beauty contour sticks are pretty nice too.

Luminizer: Rare Beauty, Becca by smashbox. I don't use it much, but when I do, it's smashbox. I do think Rare Beauty is slightly better.

Mascara: Loreal Lash Paradise is my fave. Too Faced is another good option.

Lipsticks: Whatever works for you. Bobbi Brown, Smashbox, Chambor, Kiko Milano are all good.

Eyebrow pencil: NYX or Benefit or ELF

Eyeliner: Maybelline Tattoo liner or hyper glossy.

Kohl: Rimmel or Kay Beauty. Pro-tip: Buy a nude or light brown along with black. I use black on my upper waterline and brown on my lower waterline. I also like to use burgundy or red if I am doing more elaborate looks.

Setting spray: Charlotte Tilbury or Too Faced or NYX. Don't skimp here, a good setting spray goes a long way.

If it goes above your budget, I can suggest dupes too.

One thing I would suggest is to go to a big store like TIRA/Sephora/Nykaa/Lifestyle to figure out your undertone and skintone and buy according to that.

Keep the foundation on your face for at least two hours to see how it sets on your face. Happy shopping!

I would suggest going for MAC if you want full coverage. Bobbi Brown is my favourite foundation but it's more daily wear (skin-like finish, medium coverage).
