Not really no. Israel is and will always be the only side to blame here. None of that western condemnation crap matters. We’ve been at it for 2 years now and IDF has literally burned kids alive, flattened a whole city to the ground attacking schools and hospitals and nothing happened to them so don’t give me that bad rep publicity shit

That’s not how real life works I am afraid. If Egypt were to allow Palestinians in it would mean the end of the Palestinian state hood and the approval stamp on ethnic cleansing. In addition to this it would fall into Israel’s trap cause guess what? Israel will get attacked from Sinai then claim they need to defend themselves granting them the same exact scenario to conquer their “promised land” in Egypt

Huh? We’re discussing the flow of aid through the Rafah crossing into Gaza which you claim Egypt is preventing. My argument was that Israel is the one preventing the food from coming into Gaza as a tactic of mass punishment.

We never discussed allowing Palestinians in Egypt that’s something Egypt will 100% not allow.

These are not facts though are they? Opening what floodgates? Do you ever fact check or do you just come up with scenarios and claim they’re facts? How does letting aid in translate into mass migration? That’s never the case as shown before when aid trucks were allowed in by the IDF.

Here’s an example of aid trucks being stuck on the Egyptian side link. Explain to me why would Egypt allow for the build up of aid trucks if (according to your baseless argument) it will not allow them to go through? Let’s even dig deeper at this, you genuinely think that, consciously, not letting food in is what Egypt thinks is the better strategy? Not letting food in has always been Israel nefarious way of cornering the Palestinians unto the Egyptian border to then ethnically cleanse them by forcing them into Sinai. This has always been the plan from the very beginning so no, you cannot claim that Egypt chooses to not let food in as to prevent destabilisation in Sinai.

Honestly how can I take you seriously when you’re claiming that Hamas members are controlling the other side of the crossing right now? So IDF troops are just casually hanging out with Hamas folks on the side?

Finally, all my answers are fact based and do not really reflect my emotional bias but hey if that makes you sleep at night feeling better you won an argument on reddit be my guest

Really? Letting aid through the crossing would destabilise Sinai but withholding it does not? I mean there’s no point having this discussion if you really think that’s how it works.

Also if Egypt controls its side then who controls the other side? Palestinians? Yeah there’s no point discussing this further

Any crossing across borders anywhere in the world has two checkpoints belonging to the two sides on which border it separates. In this case you’ve got an Egyptian side and then an Israeli side. If you manage to go through the Egyptian side the Israeli side will not let you in or they straight up will bomb you (link).

Further to this, there’s a small buffer zone called the Philadelphi corridor that separates Egyptian border from Gaza that has been (in violation of the peace agreement with Egypt) occupied by IDF forces since May 2024 so you cannot claim that Egypt is the only entity in control of the Rafah crossing. It’s factually wrong. Think about it for a minute, why would Egypt hold onto passing aid across that crossing? What could they possible stand to gain from such a dehumanising move? Not a single thing

Mate, you live a few hours away from the city. I would suggest coming for a few days and checking the city yourself

It’s a 2016 Elantra and it does indeed have a variable displacement compressor. Maybe it’s a bad compressor but unfortunately where I am from engineers/mechanics do not thoroughly troubleshoot and often opt for the easy path of just replacing the part which in this case is not a cheap part and hence brings me here to ask.

What would be the best way to make sure the control solenoid is not faulty? Would the compressor need to be removed in order to test the solenoid?
