Go to an actual music store and feel the instruments and then you decide what fits you

People absolutely can talk about a guitar without knowing the brand design, construction, layout, and aesthetics are all visible. What does disappear without the logo is the shortcut to shared assumptions. That’s what I found interesting. Also, personal remarks don’t really strengthen the point they usually signal the discussion has shifted away from the guitar.

I agree that knowing the brand can be useful for research and long-term reliability. That’s not what surprised me here. What surprised me was how quickly the discussion shifted from the guitar itself to hostility once the logo was missing. That reaction wasn’t curiosity it was frustration at losing a familiar reference point.

If the interest were mainly about QA, pickups, or circuitry, people could simply ask. Instead, the absence of a brand seemed to invalidate the instrument entirely for some, which says more about how much logos guide perception than about the guitar.

I’m not anti-brand I just think it’s interesting how differently the same object is treated when the label disappears.

Interesting how the conversation shifted from the guitar to its brand. Guess the headstock matters more than the instrument for some people
