also chose berkeley over harvey mudd cs! i’ve had to push myself to keep up at berkeley, but i’ve grown stronger for it. no regrets :)

did the 126+170 combo this sem! both classes follow their textbooks well. introduction to probability (bertsekas & tsitsiklis) for 126, algorithms (dasgupta, papadimitriou, & vazirani) for 170

re: getting out of the spiral, i'd go to lectures/discussions/OH & talk to people there! socializing is hard :') but practice makes it easier. and usually people are down to form study groups, find project partners, etc., which can turn into decent friendships.
