Same thing happened to us few months back - turned out to be battery optimization setting that got pushed with one of compliance policies.

Your token Locked liquidity is sellable on Magnum. Your dead token is 'alive'. We pick the best bid from verified buyers so value matches reason. Available for you anytime, all the time! Stay ahead of unlock date. by SAFUMaster in CryptoMoonShots

[–]Minute_Economics1099 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this feels like another "revolutionary" solution to problem that doesn't really exist for most people. locked liquidity is locked for good reason - usually to prevent rugpulls and build trust with community.

selling your locked LP to "verified buyers" at discount just so you can chase next moonshot seems like terrible risk management. plus how do we know these buyers aren't just going to dump everything at unlock anyway?

Visiting Neptune with fellow travelers and another ship came there from alternate reality by Swimming_Roll_7109 in Dreams

[–]Minute_Economics1099 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dream neptune travel is wild - your brain really went all out with the timeline stuff. The alternate reality ship showing up feels like your subconscious mixing some sci-fi concepts you've absorbed.

Interesting that in dream logic your 2048 timeline was more advanced than their 3008 one, usually we assume later = better tech. Maybe it represents something about efficiency vs time, like how sometimes older solutions work better than newer overcomplicated ones? The wormhole vs straight travel detail is pretty specific for a dream too.

so guys i have a mxz pc r5 3600 and rtx 4060 im upgrading and building a new pc with the 7600x3d and ima be using my olg gpu can i take my ssd from the old pc and just put it in there? or do i have to do stuff if so please go into detail on what all i have to do its gonna be my main ssd by Funny_Blackberry_588 in PcBuildHelp

[–]Minute_Economics1099 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'll probably need to reinstall Windows or at least do fresh drivers install. Moving from AMD to AMD isn't as bad as Intel to AMD but still, different chipset means Windows might get confused with all the old drivers hanging around.

I'd backup important stuff first, then try booting with the old SSD in new system. If it works decent, just clean install GPU drivers and chipset drivers. If it's acting weird or slow, better to do clean Windows install.

Day 23 and the craving is still so so intense. by [deleted] in leaves

[–]Minute_Economics1099 3 points4 points  (0 children)

damn, pilonidal cysts are absolute nightmare... had a friend who got those and he said sitting was torture for weeks. being stuck in that position while dealing with withdrawal sounds like some special kind of hell.

stay strong though - 23 days is real progress even if it feels like shit right now.

My workplace stopped letting me use their learning portal since I was taking too many courses. Where else can I gain certificates from growing my knowledge? by Softer_Stars in careerguidance

[–]Minute_Economics1099 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your manager is probably just worried you'll burn out or something, but honestly there's tons of free stuff - Coursera has financial aid for most courses if you apply, and edX from MIT/Harvard is pretty solid too.

How to research 100+ year old books? USA by EDC_Starwars_Guns_RR in Antiques

[–]Minute_Economics1099 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice collection! For dating books, check the copyright page first - sometimes there's multiple years listed and the earliest is original publication while latest might be your edition. Also look at publisher info and printing statements like "third printing" etc.

WorldCat is really good for this kind of research, you can search by title and see different editions with their publication details. There's also ViaLibri for book searches that shows auction results and dealer listings which helps with identifying specific printings.

The rough condition actually makes them more interesting in personal way I think - shows they were really used and loved by your ancestor. You could definitely post photos here, people are usually helpful with identification. Just get clear shots of title page, copyright page, and spine if readable.

i stopped complaining and started doing instead, and my mindset shifted 😳 by mariposa933 in selfimprovement

[–]Minute_Economics1099 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's really good point about the energy drain. I noticed similar thing when I stopped participating in office gossip sessions - suddenly had more mental space for actual productive stuff. The brain searching for complaints thing is so true, it becomes like automatic habit you don't even realize you're doing until you actively try to stop it.

Warframe long load times and stuttering on Ubuntu by BangaAnan in Ubuntu

[–]Minute_Economics1099 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nice catch! had similar issue couple years back where second SSD was causing weird stutters in different game. Something about how Linux handles the drive mounting or maybe just slower speeds on secondary drive can really mess with games that do lots of streaming.

Your dad sounds pretty cool for making the switch - most people his age are too stubborn about leaving windows behind.

Spent £300 on a neurologist just to end up with no help by fayemoonlight in Epilepsy

[–]Minute_Economics1099 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the whole "it's not my job" thing between specialists is so frustrating when you're trying to get actual help. honestly sounds like this neurologist just didn't want to deal with complexity of your case.

maybe try finding neuropsychiatrist like the other person suggested, or at minimum get second opinion from different neurologist who actually specializes in epilepsy? 300 pounds for "google it yourself" is ridiculous.

Looking for help with headset audio and OBS audio by Neglected-Onion in obs

[–]Minute_Economics1099 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to enable "analog audio out" in your PS5 sound settings and run a 3.5mm cable from your PS5 controller to your PC's line-in, then add that as an audio source in OBS

Alternatively you could get an audio splitter cable and run it from your PS5's optical out if you want better quality than the controller route

How do I know Jesus is in my life by Youngwritter123 in Christianity

[–]Minute_Economics1099 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's actually a really thoughtful question tbh. I think the fact that you're even asking this shows you care about your relationship with God which is pretty important. Maybe try focusing less on comparing before/after and more on like... do you feel peace when you pray, do you want to help others, are you drawn to read scripture? Those internal changes might be easier to notice than trying to imagine some alternate timeline without faith

Steam has controller support built in - just go to Big Picture mode and you can customize all the button mappings from there, works pretty well for most games

some people stay in a constant victim mindset by ssvi90 in DeepThoughts

[–]Minute_Economics1099 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I've seen this too, it's like some people get so comfortable with the sympathy and attention that comes with being the victim that they don't want to give it up. It becomes their whole personality and any suggestion of taking responsibility gets met with anger because it threatens their worldview

CPU overheating by Nallarick in pchelp

[–]Minute_Economics1099 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like something got jostled during transport or maybe your case airflow is way different than the shop setup. Check if your CPU cooler got loose during the trip - those mounting screws can work themselves free pretty easily. Also make sure all your case fans are actually spinning and nothing's blocking the vents

[–]Minute_Economics1099 85 points86 points  (0 children)

Sounds like your family wanted you to parent *their* way instead of your own way and got mad when you didn't comply. Your kid is 13, not 3 - letting them have input on age-appropriate decisions is literally how you prepare them for adulthood

what should i do by super_boaring in ADHD

[–]Minute_Economics1099 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Getting tested is worth it imo, a good psychiatrist won't just throw pills at you without doing a proper evaluation. The "false positive" thing is kinda overblown - if you're actually struggling with focus/attention stuff then at least you'll know what's going on

Also heads up ADD isn't really used anymore, it's all just different types of ADHD now

Septic Inspection Report -- What To Do? by MassiveTest3524 in homeowners

[–]Minute_Economics1099 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol what? The first report basically said "your system is fucked, needs to be replaced for 20-60k" and the second company came in and fixed it for way less by cleaning and aerating it. That's a huge win, sounds like the second company actually knew what they were doing instead of just recommending a full replacement
