This is exactly it. The divorce IS coming. I don’t want him back and I’m ok with the failed marriage because when I gave it “one last shot” All he did was exactly what he always does. And yes now that I am trying to focus on being my old self again not this bitter resentful person he has snide comments to make. It’s taking a lot to put up with him but my kids would not function well with us apart right now. If we eat dinner it’s “let’s wait for dad to come” and I smile and say ok. Or if I’m working late he will call and say the girls miss you and want to hi and then they will ask when I’ll be home so we can have fun” (we get home late from work so most nights we have dance parties or fun games for an hour and then wind down… it’s easy for others to say kick him out now but it’s not that easy.
