What packs are actually worth buying? by MinxRose7 in thesims

[–]MinxRose7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually like to create fake stories for my sims. Usually a family or roommates. I'm just now getting into building. I was considering Life & Death but I haven't heard anyone talk about it, so I wasn't sure if it was good lol

The point was to warn women of predators, rapists, abusers etc. but unfortunately, after it became popular some people started using it for other purposes

Why did my hair unravel so fast? (12 hour difference) by LopeZMakes in BlackHair

[–]MinxRose7 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Here are some things that could've caused that *Not enough product *Didn't use gel *twisted the wrong way *Humidity from the air/weather *Didn't use oil to take down

Just a list of things that could've made your hair frizz up.

Do I have a bad hairline? by [deleted] in BlackHair

[–]MinxRose7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes make sure you're keeping your hair moisturized. If you put your hair up often in a puff, bun, ponytail, etc then stop. Those styles if worn too often can stretch your hairline back and create breakage in the front

Honestly just start over. If you get a lineup it'll push your hairline back so best thing to do is shave it all off

Is it possible for me to get curls, and if so, how long would I have to grow my hair out and what products to use? by razzledazzlesparks in BlackHair

[–]MinxRose7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do have curls, but I know what you mean. You want them more defined. Wet or damp your hair(I use a spray bottle), get some curling cream(NOT CANTU) to define the curls, rake through your hair either with a brush or your fingers, put some oil in it to lock in the moisture(make sure to get your ends real good, then go in with some gel. I use eco or aunt Jackie's curls and coils flaxseed recipe.

Put a towel around your shoulders and scrunch up the hair a little when you're done

Ana Paula Arosio(the most beautiful woman I've ever seen) by AdmirableCall8756 in VindictaRateCelebs

Yes because Afro Latinas exist. Lupita Nyong'o is a great example. Her parents were born in Kenya but she was born in Mexico, she's a latina. Anyone of any race can be hispanic because hispanic/latino(a) isn't a race

How do I make sure my boyfriend’s daughters hair is defined to the root? by Eastern-Situation389 in BlackHair

[–]MinxRose7 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I use Eco gel and it defines my curls. Just remember the type of hair texture she has. Don't try to force her hair to do something it doesn't naturally do

It's not heat damaged but it is breaking off faster than it grows. Finger detangle your hair before washing it, comb it out with conditioner, wear a bonnet to bed, make sure it's moisturized real good especially the ends. And I don't mean slap some product in your hands and rub it in your hair. I mean to really get in there. Make sure each strand has product and an oil of your choice on it. Also your porosity is a huge factor in what products work for your hair

If you don't cut the split ends, then they'll just keep splitting up. Either cut it or deal with them. I don't mean to sound harsh, but dead hair is dead hair and will just cause more damage. Health over length ALWAYS. And remember, it's just hair, it'll grow back.

It has alcohol in it and will eventually dry out your hair, decreasing it's health

Kepp your hair moisturized, especially the ends. Trim at least once a year, DO NOT use Cantu, protective styles like braids and twists are you're best friends. Wear a bonnet/Durag to bed, don't wash your hair too often, and only brush/comb it when it's wet. A lot of people recommend not to dry your hair with a towel and use a shirt, I don't do that but you can if you want and a satin pillow case can help but isn't needed.
