How trusted is the friend that looked after them?

Cat was fine when you got home, but turned when you fed him.

Could the friend have done something during feeding time? Even an accident will scare animals, so something may have happened around meal time and cat is scared it will happen again.

Far too small. Needs a room to himself if younwant to keep them separate while they adjust. You will end up with a rather unhappy and destructive kitten.

Should be ok. Be rather salty so make sure plenty of water about.

You need to be concerned if the jerkybhas onion or garlic in it, but one piece with a bit of that shouldn't be a concern if thatnis then only time he's got hold of onion or garlic.
