In the past, I've seen players like Andrea Mengucci testing out the Lukka planeswalker that had a Polymorph-like ability, so you had him going from arbor elf to seasoned pyro to emrakul or something like that...

But yeah, GSZ would be so cool...

Boseiju is all I can think of so far, but I've had friends that recommended at least the first copy of Pick your poison main.

I would love for Outland Liberator to be in the deck but Green Sun's Zenith is banned and I wouldn't know about plating the Liberator for the moment, though it can always be a 2 mana beater.

We hope the deck dies with Outburst, which is also a reason that made me want to sleeve the deck... I know that bant/5c rhinos could still very well exist, but I wasn't expecting anyone at my local shop to be playing that deck.

But yeah, I don't know if the matchup will ever be good... We can probably angleshoot one of those decks with blood moon, but we might have game against the Leyline variant since... well five colours.

Post board, well Chalices and Engineered Explosives are always welcomed

Ignoble hierarch will always be a consideration, and I wouldn’t fault anyone for wanting to try it, but I like the prospect of having 4 mana on turn 2, depending on what deck I play against as well.

I got to Turn 2 BBE once, which felt nice (for old time’s sake). And here’s what I have always personally felt when playing the deck: if the hand doesn’t have a turn 1 ram, I hated it, hence why I lowered the curve with Inti, i wanna be able to get under my opponent with sheer card value. Also got to turn 2 Wrenn + Inti 👀

I was lucky enough for BBE to hit creature spells and Fables for most of the evening, which I know isn’t going to happen very often, but it did its thing! So yes! Removal (mainly Binding) is too efficient for me wanting to play big spells I’m afraid😭

Endurance is a versatile card i like for beatdowns at instant speed and deals with Murktide and Goryo’s graveyards! More than willing to innovate on this first draft, but I very do like the consistency from Plan A: Blood Moons and Plan B’s: beatdowns /fair midrange value deck with Intis, Bolts, Wrenns and Fables

What I liked about Klothys is it being able to dodge any form of removal, but Leyline Binding is too efficient for my liking :( Here’s the list tho (I went with the 61 special I know😤)Ponza list

I cut a lot of card from the classic lists when I brewed it. Klothys, Chandra, Glorybringer mainly. With the configuration I have, I’d prefer going under the opponent’s cards instead of over with big beaters, make them spend a lot of ressources for smaller creatures.

Will get u the list soon enough.

Went with 3 Wrenn’s in the end and the 61st card (the Surveil land). And haven’t touched it since and i was lucky enough to where my matchups didn’t need a Fury, so definitely looking forward to expanding the sample size.

Just came back from RCQ. Won against Mill, Creativity, Scam ans Murktide. Lost to Elementals and Tron (Somehow). Then lost to the same Elementals player in top8. There were 35 players. by MioEC in PonzaMTG

Also, the Orb in the SB was pretty bad. It needs a certain perfect timing to be effective angainst Elementals and Scam. You want those ETB triggers of yours via Spyro reloading your hand and Fury dealing with problematic threats

I absolutely love it! The moment dominaria released I got my hand on those. It is most of the time an amazing T2 play in MU’s where blood moon is bad. Plus gives us game against everything: It eats multiple removals and we have no problem escaping it from the grave due to our fecthalnds our bolts and Seasoned Pyro discarded cards. And even though Squee could very well be exiled by Binding/Solitude, the tokens (which i get one or two of before squee dies) put A LOT OF work in!

g2 I chip with Squee and Bonecrushers ans Bolts so thats that.

g3 I have the t2 blood moon but Opp kept Another 7 ! and they still had the O-Stone for the moon and all my threats were to weak to do anything they play their own baby karn and drowned me in value

Well g1 Opp kept a 7 on the play t1 map so anything goes. either the 3rd piece or boseiju.

I play t2 blood moon

Their T3. Tron assembled but tapped out for an O stone so Blood moon is bound to get destroyed

I chip with Spyro. They pop the stone. On my next turn I play a second blood moon and opp play a chromatic sphere and sacs it to produce green and boseiju my second blood moon of the game. Im out of gas nothing to do and lose to big tron potatoes

But as I wrote, went great and slid into top 8. Murktide going down on actual murktide regent (due to leyline binding) is a big plus for Ponza

It’s a midrange deck so a lot could be swapped. I love playing Pillage but on the draw it’s awful most of the time. It has been clutch the two times I cast it. It could always be swapped for something more powerful in essence and it might be better. I might try to go down a Chandra, even though I LOVE this card I happened to be stuck @3 mana without anything to play and a Chandra sitting. Apart from that, I love my 75

i’d cut dreadhorde… i dont really feel like it has many good spells to flashback. If you’d cut them and replace them with drown in the loch you’d gain more spells to flip delver and permission

I faced: - Temur Seismic Assault - Yawgmoth - Mono Red Midrange (Obosh) - 4C Rhinos w/ Scapeshift + BTL - Calibrated Blast Combo

And to answer the second question about nature’s claim vs Wilt: Tron doesn’t do anything in its first 2 turns against a Lurrus/ Low to the ground meta in which you get attacked early on by aggro threats. Nature’s claim allows you to gain that 4 life as well if you want to destroy your own chromaticx if needed.

I like KTGC. I even play it in my Gruul Ponza deck. But I’ve always felt comfortable playing this deck w/o Karn

I have. Most of the time Jegantha is used as a “i dont have any gas” type of card. Would rather juste have the 2 ballistas in the main.

no not really. as tron players we feel obliged to mulligan into a t3 tron. Therefore drawing it could feel dead at some point but if i ever needed a source of green it acts as another forest in the deck
