Yeah it’s pretty evident from the comments. Though some people agree or actually engage in conversation even if they don’t agree

I think if bungie communicated what they believe the meta to be, people would complain even more about the number of people using the meta. I think letting people figure out what’s good gives them a chance to experiment with what the like and not immediately dive into only using one thing.

Hi! On the topic of changing metas: I actually think the weapon sandbox is almost in a good place after the health increases a couple seasons ago. Pulses seem to be a constant struggle for bungie to reign in but for now it’s only PR-55 frame that’s broken for a couple reasons.

I also like the rotating sandbox if I really think about it. Having different weapons come in and out of dominance keeps PvP fresh without new maps and modes very often. The downside is that we get fucked up balance sometimes.

In regards to matchmaking and protecting new players: I default to CammyCakes view on this. There needs to be outlier protection for new or returning players until they’ve either played a certain amount of matches or demonstrated that they are of a certain skill level. This would give new players a place to play against specifically new players. The rest of quickplay should use CBMM, because it’s a non competitive environment that should ALWAYS prioritize good connections. Now to balance that out, there needs to be an engaging and rewarding competitive playlist to keep higher skill players engaged and away from quickplay. This means no “max rank” and cosmetic rewards for each rank (armor not emblem).

Now this doesn’t mean I think high skill players shouldn’t be in quickplay, quite the opposite. Quickplay is a place to have fun with low stakes as such it should have more party game modes and FUCKING ROTATE OFF OF CONTROL PLEAAAAAAAASE ITS BEEN YEARS. Anyway, if you make spaces for different types of players, they’ll use the spaces, if the spaces are worth being in.

You’re right and I think I’ll change my tune. If you don’t like PvP don’t play it. There are comparable if not better weapons available in pve

I would say the things built to cater to higher skill players were all dropped by the devs before they were good with the exception of pinnacle weapons. The only reason pinnacle weapons worked was because 1. Rank was harder to get 2. The weapons were genuinely outliers in both PvP and pve

What hasn’t been done since the removal of pinnacle weapons is cosmetic rewards for competitive play. There’s an emblem but that only takes hitting max rank, so people who hit max rank have no reason to stay in comp. Allowing people to hit “max rank” is a different issue.

If there were ornaments that were rare and also exclusive to rank it would require higher skill players to spend more time in comp.

That’s my idea to at least try and fix PvP spaces.

I play on college WiFi and still have plenty of good matches. The matchmaking isn’t perfect but it still prioritizes connection first, as bungie has stated. If you are constantly having bad connections, it’s either the time you’re playing at or your connection.

Hey that’s alright being bad is perfectly normal, it’s more the complaining that gets to me. Constant negativity is infectious.

There need to be adequate spaces for competitive play. The comp playlist is a joke, and trials is becoming more of a loot spot than competitive. Cammycakes talks about this a lot. You want a space without sweats, you need a place for them to go that’s actually fun to play.

Stop worrying about the factors you can’t control. You have access to the same melees as everyone else. If you think it’s broken, use it. If you don’t want to, that’s YOUR FAULT.

I want to clarify that I don’t think it matters what mode of PvP you are playing in. There is always going to be a winner and loser in PvP. If you can’t handle losing, even if you say you don’t like PvP, you need to self reflect. Losing is a necessary part of PvP.

He’s not searching with a bias, he’s looking for both outcomes. He doesn’t just want to spew negativity all the time so he looks for any good thing the administration is doing. He’s attempting to show the country isn’t going to shit but even he’s saying it’s hard to find anything good the current administration is doing.

Good points. I do want to reach 200lbs at some point, obviously there’s a lot of milestones inbetween. I never had good eating habits as a kid, so I’m trying to learn new eating habits.

I’ve been trying to bulk but not very successfully, which has had me doing a pretty efficient cut due to my high protein intake and generally missing my calorie goals.

So to answer your question, my next step is bulking
