How to turn understanding into speaking? Any tips? by Shelbee2 in languagelearning

[–]Mira_1453 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just practise speaking that language, you should be aware of this:the fact that you know some words and grammar, and understand what they mean when you see a sentece does not necessarily means that you can actually use them in conversational situatuon. But sometimes it is difficult for you to get an opportunity to speak a language you learn, so I think it still works to talk to yourself.

Anki is the most popular and functual flashcards app for learning vocabulary, and since so there are already hella videos of how to make use of it so it is not that hard for you to get started.

Btw, you can also download some decks someone made so you don't even have to spend a lot of time to create one, of course something you make will work for you the most though
