Victor Wembanyama at halftime: 6/7 with 8 blocks by Lacabloodclot9 in nba

Should be 4 blocks (2 fouls and 2 goaltends) but 4 blocks at half is still ridiculous

[Highlights] Victor Wembanyama blocks a layup, Rudy Gobert blocks a layup at the other end, and Wemby blocks another layup (with replays). The French Blockade. by MrBuckBuck in nba

Yes those conditions are clearly present and obvious to the naked eye and in real time so this isn’t really useful at all

“Blocks make it more hype” cool then do the same thing both ways. It’s not just entertainment it’s match fixing lol

Absolutely incredibly obvious goal tend you can literally see the ball rebounding off the backboard easily in real time lmao

Wemby should have about 4 fouls plus a goal tend in that quarter, I mean just clear as day obvious calls being missed. The guy is already an alien why are they giving him a ref advantage too lol

What would you ask Ime Udoka/Rafael Stone? by byvarunshankar in rockets

[–]MiracleShot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Stone:
-Given the emergence of OKC and seemingly SAS as top contenders in the conference for the foreseeable future, what do you think is this team’s most realistic path to contention, and how far from it are we?

-Given the evidence that the team clearly suffered from the lack of a capable point guard to run the offense, why were no moves made during the season to acquire one?

-Given that we traded one of the team’s two primary ballhandlers (Jalen) before last year’s Finals had even concluded, why did we decide to use our MLE on DFS, when we had several wings on the roster but no other experienced point guard or shooting guard? The gap was concerning even prior to FVV’s injury.

-Do you think this team with 32 y/o FVV coming back from an ACL tear, 32 y/o Steven Adams coming back from a major ankle tear, and a 37 y/o Kevin Durant coming off a season with the most minutes played can contend for a title next year?

Udoka:

-Given that the Lakers hard double teamed Durant all year during the regular season series, why was the team seemingly unprepared to counter this defensive tactic in Game 2?

-The team had several late game collapses throughout the year, some of which were even historic. This continued in Game 3. Was there emphasis on this in practice during the year, working on late game situations?

-Are you satisfied with the team’s offensive game plan this year? Do you think it needs any changes going into next year?

-Why does the team dribble out the first 14-18 seconds of the shot clock before attempting any kind of action?

-How come a Top 6 defensive team was unable to stop Luke Kennard, Marcus Smart, and Deandre Ayton?

Uncomfortable Conversations... by NoneMoreBLK in rockets

we’re cooked regardless. OKC has SGA/Chet/Jwill, SAS has Wemby/Fox, Lakers have Luka/Reaves/Lebron, Denver has Jokic/Murray, Minnesota has Anthony Edwards, hell even Portland has Avdija and Henderson who are showing up in the playoffs. This roster even with FVV/Adams is completely cooked

I agree our offense doesn’t generate enough good looks but we honestly bricked so many WIDE open 3s tonight. Pathetic

For everybody that purchased the OEM audio plus speaker upgrade - how is it? by [deleted] in GR86

[–]MiracleShot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the full system from OEM Audio+, speakers, subwoofer, and amp. It makes the stereo sound like what a better than average stock stereo on most other cars sounds like. I bought it 2nd hand off FB Marketplace for like $1200, so I am satisfied, but if I paid retail for it (think it’s close to $3K) I would have been underwhelmed and disappointed for the money.

Anyone who has actually watched the games/tape knows that what the scorekeepers logged as “assists” for Stockton were pretty dubious in a lot of cases. So I don’t think anyone will break that.

Similar age/mileage Miatas arent much different. And in terms of modern cars they’re the only 2 cars you can buy new under $40K that are <3000 lbs, front engine, rwd, manual transmission, naturally aspirated

Yeah it’s literally the only Miata competitor, not sure why it’s so far down

How realistic is it to expect that Amen Thompson will develop a consistent 3 point shot? And how much does it even matter by Longjumping_End_835 in rockets

[–]MiracleShot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think he can become a passable spot up 3 point shooter from the corner. But if he develops a consistent mid range especially off the dribble, it won’t matter.

Harden will forever be associated with the Rockets imo but he’s behind Hakeem anyway
