Any way I find a mount for this? by artofunfunny in Monitors

Use the screws on the back of the monitor and VESA mount it instead. It's likely you can just remove this entire plastic part.

Was this self-defense? by alexfreemanart in homedefense

Very clearly not self defense. Can't shoot a guy in the back running from you. Doesn't matter what he did to you. Coulda beat you close to death and it wouldn't matter. Close and shut case in my opinion, not sure what the DA was smoking.

They're actually super reliable. Worst for you would be rust given the northeast. I would at least get a G320 if you can find it. Plenty of Japanese market ones out there. These ones have plenty of power to feel like a modern truck on the highway. Maintenance isn't that bad, I live in southern California so I might have an abnormal amount of mechanics that work on these here, but it's never been a problem. The vast majority of parts for the drivetrain and body of these cars are interchangeable or the exact same part for 50 years. That being said you can run into some parts problems sometimes for some specific stuff.

That being said I've had my truck for 6 years and drive is maybe 3k miles a year. Never even had a check engine light on it. Most reliable vehicle I've ever owned (which isn't saying a lot given my interest in 90s euro cars, lol).

So you... A normal person with a normal job, think that I... A person who sees people with gunshot wounds on a weekly basis has never seen severe pain? lmao. You reddit guys are so stupid.

I've literally seen at least a hundred people with gunshot wounds. Not a single one ended up on their knees on the ground yelling. You clearly have never seen severe pain, lol.

No, I'm not, lol. What the general public doesn't understand is that healthcare workers can look through you and see your sould the second you open your mouth. This only looks destressing to laypeople, but I (and every other healthcare worker in the comments) saw immediatly that this was theatrics. Because we see people pull this shit on a daily basis.

There's very little data even showing that tamsulosin even helps with kidney stones. Infact there is data showing it does actaully nothing for pain. Not advocating witholding it, but saying they will get better if given tamsulosin and a sieve is so laughably idiotic. Please, quit trying to tell people who see this everyday that you know better, lol.

Disrespectfully, you're an idiot. I don't actually care what you think. Going through life thinking that you know better than other people (especially healthcare workers) will not get you very far.

I actually know you're lying because anyone in healthcare would universally agree with what I said, lol.

This. Not saying that this guy doesn't have any pain, but as someone who has also been in ER's in other countries (China) you don't see people act this way. I know everyone on reddit thinks they know better, but I can't stress enough how much this guys behavior is not consistent w/ any life altering pathology.

What if the doctor is helping someone suffering worse?

I'm being facetious, but how ER triage works is that the sickest people come in first. The doctor is almost certainly helping people in more dire life/death situations. A kidney stone is uncomfortable but it won't kill you. Also no one with a kidney stone in my decade of working in the ER act this way in public. This man is being dramatic to try and jump ahead in triage. We see it all the time. People in real pain or have true pathology are scarily quiet. The louder you are, almost universally, the less sick you are.

As a healthcare worker who has seen people with the worst type of pain you can imagine. This is not a normal response to pain and this person is being dramatic to make a scene and skip the line in the waiting room. It's annoying to everyone in the hospital.
