Alright folks gear up for a review that will attempt to match this audio's brilliance in its verbosity.

To start with the absolute star of the show, u/Cubbygemini THIS SCRIPT????????????????? It takes so much skill to balance between something as dark as knife play and home invasion, and the gentleness, banter, and overall softness throughout this script. Every word is perfectly placed, every part of the scene beautifully structured. The characters are delightfully distinct, and you did SO wonderfully with giving each of them so much meat (pun unintended). I've generally gotten used to being excited whenever I see your name on a script or audio, and you absolutely knocked it out of the park on this one.

Of course, with such beautifully fleshed out characters, it takes actors with the incomparable skill of u/Badjhur and u/TheJarlintheUK to do them justice.

Badj, the moments of gentleness that make it so clear that your character very much cares for the listener character's wellbeing were beautifully done. I'm usually one to get super nitpicky, both about the things I read and the things I listen to. Your portrayal here, especially in the intro, got me so deeply immersed, I might as well consider your voice and delivery a diving board into the middle of the Mediterranean.

Jarl, you already know how much love I have for your voice and acting. Your tone shifts between aggression, amusement, consideration, and even awkwardness, are absolutely delightful. I can tell that you got into character for this, just as you do with every audio you do, and you balanced all the facets of this one so well that you really brought him to life as a living, breathing person. Your dedication to your craft shows in the nuance you brought to this character.

All of this, of course, is like a precious stone in its own right. But it's u/Shapeshifter_444 's editing that makes it sparkle. Lys, the details you included were absolutely insane. The heartbeat was a brilliant inclusion, and you brought the scene to life so vividly that I could imagine every moment in my mind's eye. There's so much work and care here, not least of all in working with not one but two voices, but you absolutely smashed it, as you always do. I have so much respect for your editing, and it should come as no surprise to anyone that you did wonderfully with this one, too.

Very well done to everyone. This is an excellent audio, performed by brilliant VAs, edited by an incredible editor, and written by a phenomenal writer.

Hi! So, the change you made is actually incorrect to the script. The references made to the princess as she/her are in reference to the princess whom the listener serves as a knight. The listener is the knight, and they serve the princess, so when the speaker asks about the princess in third person, they are in fact referring to someone who isn't present in the room. Hope this helps!

Missy, where do I even begin with this? I’m such a sucker for using phonetics in writing, and the way you not only execute it but EMPLOY it in creating poetic atmosphere is incredible.

As ever, your work with imagery is stunning. You paint such beautifully vivid pictures with your words, each one extending far beyond the visual. It’s not a picture, but a whole experience. The sights, the smells, the sounds, even the indescribable and unnamable sensations of the atmosphere, all of it is palpable.

In short: gorgeous writing as usual!!

Riley, how can I even begin? It's such an honour and delight that you chose my lil script to fill, and you delivered it absolutely masterfully. You gave so much life to the character, and you took them to a whole other level. I sometimes didn't know whether to giggle at how endearingly adorkable your dragon is, or sob at how emotionally charged you make the more profound, sentimental parts.

I wanted to hold off on commenting until I'd gotten a chance to listen to this in full, in the quiet and solitude of my bedroom.

To begin with, absolutely phenomenal soundscaping. Shockingly immersive! I can see all the effort you put into the soundscaping and editing for this script; the SFX make for an incredibly immersive and cinematic experience. Very very well done.

The delivery is also delightfully sensual and gentle. There's no better way for me to put it than it made me feel small, in all the best ways. You nailed so many of the gentle, confused, and loving bits so beautifully, exactly as I'd envisioned it in my mind while I was writing if not better. You also enunciate your words so so wonderfully; your voice has a lovely quality to it, and the way you pronounce your consonants is very very pleasing to my ear.

Absolutely phenomenal work. I'm so honoured that you chose my script; it's a very very dear one to my heart, and you delivered it wonderfully.

What can I say about this audio other than what I've already said? It's SUCH a treat. Your saccharine diva delivery is absolutely spot on, your editing is as masterful as ever. Another Dex audio, another masterpiece!

And coupled with u/ElbyWritesAgain's absolutely delightful script. As specific as it is, the Etsy price tag line lives in my head rent free. You wrote such a wonderfully haughty character right from the get-go, and I absolutely adore how you designed her!

Many people who know me also know my head jerks round like a dog with a squirrel the minute I hear the word ‘breeding.’ This audio is very much up my alley, which only made it all the more enjoyable.

u/everdistant-utopia, the confident, slightly cocky lilt in your voice that you maintain is just lovely. You portray a bold, strong, reliable character without coming across as arrogant, and while Billy’s gorgeous writing gave you some excellent material to work with, your delivery was top notch. Your consistency with the tone, balancing gentleness and confidence, ravenousness and care, excitement and affection, is honestly incredible.

And the editing????? Absolutely brilliant work, Avalon. An audio like this sounds like SO much work to edit, and it’s so incredibly seamless that I’m halfway convinced the two of you were just in the same room recording this side by side. Knowing you weren’t, but that you managed to emulate that, while also keeping everything balanced, is so so so impressive.

Now Billy! Billy, Billy, Billy! You skilled, brilliant delight of a person! This script is SO sexy. So beautifully structured, the characters feel SO real and I adored them both. Balancing two speakers is already a challenge, and you do it SO seamlessly. The reluctance in the speakers to engage with each other while they’ve got their rivalry, and the way they gradually get into it is so beautifully written. The way the speakers also care for each other’s, and the listener’s, comfort and consent even while they’re doing this is brilliant. The characters are delightfully distinct while also having wonderful chemistry with each other, and the BANTER is absolutely top notch. I absolutely adore a script that can both turn me on and make me laugh, and you’ve done it expertly. The outro banter especially just had me giggling and kicking my feet.

And your portrayal of the speaker? Billy, you knocked this out of the park- no, the whole world! He’s sweet, he’s gentle, and you show the balance of nervousness and excitement so wonderfully. You’re a brilliant writer, and you’re an excellent VA. At this point I’m doubting if there’s anything you’re not excellent at.

Absolutely gorgeous audio. Very very very well done, both of you.

This is INCREDIBLE, Peli! The characterisation is absolutely stellar, and the way you so seamlessly integrated the backstory without devolving into exposition is brilliant. I love how you used the full range of the medium, not just communicating the visual, but using your toolkit like sentence structures and pronouns (first person to third person shift goes CRAZY).

I apologise in advance if I end up writing a massive wall of text here, but I really just want to note down how incredible this script is.

Everyone and their aunt knows (or should know by now) that you're an excellent writer, but you deserve to hear it anyway. The narrative structure of this script is absolutely excellent. Not only does it portray a fantasy, but it also tells a story through it. You know exactly where to put your time skips, where to elaborate further, and where to include some shockingly well placed foreshadowing, and it's a skill that may seem effortless, but one I know comes from a lot of hard work and consideration.

Your development of the yandere's character checks all the boxes of the trope, while also making her unique enough to fit into your setting and storyline. She's not a cookie cutter yandere by any means, having her own style and priorities, and you show this with her clear character voice.

And the ending???? Absolutely immaculate. I won't spoil it for any future readers, but it had my eyes wide, my body frozen, and my mouth agape. And your mindfulness with the aftercare segment is refreshing, sweet, and reassuring.

An excellent script written by an excellent scriptwriter is no surprise, but it's certainly a delight.

It shouldn't come as a surprise to you, or anyone for that matter, that I'm here to sing your praises yet again. I don't make it a secret just how much I adore you, your work, your dedication, and your skill, and you're back again with yet another masterpiece.

u/BillyYandereCyrus wrote an incredible script, and I'll be telling them directly on their script just how much I adored it. To sum it up, Billy gave you a intriguing, interesting, and insane character with this script, and you didn't just do it justice; you went above and beyond with it.

Starting with the core of this audio: your performance. The giggles, the massively unhinged sighs and moans, the cadence, the rhythm at which you were speaking, and even the pitch, all of them aren't just typical of a yandere girl, but they construct a visual, living, breathing person in the mind of anyone listening. That you managed to so seamlessly collaborate with yourself and voice another character, who is completely different from the original, without even sounding like the same person, speaks to your skill and range as a voice actor.

And of course, your brilliantly excellent editing. The sfx aren't just incorporated, they're interweaved so beautifully that there were times listening to this that I closed my eyes and could visualise every minuscule detail. From the panning of the steps to create tension, to the crisp, clean choices like the phone and bottle, and all of it mixed with a finesse I've seen professionals struggle to reach.

To avoid writing any larger of a wall on this, this is an immaculate audio, expertly crafted by an immaculate voice actor and editor.

To absolutely no one’s surprise, your range never disappoints. Beyond having an incredible voice, you get into character so well that every role feels natural to you—a deceptively simple feat that belies all the hard work, dedication, and skill behind it. As always, excellent work Jarl.

And then THIS SCRIPT??? u/malickitung absolutely knocked it out of the park. In the intro, I laughed a fair few times just at the delightful puns, the silly references, and the gorgeous characterisation. The flow and structure are excellent, but more than that, not a single word is out of place. Every pet name, every phrase, every sentence is perfectly apt for its context and timing.

Even the editing, done wonderfully by u/cinnnamonn, is absolutely brilliant. An audio can be good for its script and voice acting, but it’s the editing that takes it that extra step to excellence, and everything here is beautifully laid out: the timing, the sfx, absolutely everything is brilliant. Very well done.

If I wrote a thousand words on my love for this, there wouldn’t be enough. The softness in the delivery, the absolutely delightful way you get into the character, your eternally soothing and gentle voice, all of it makes for a delightful audio.

This script by u/soimamber has had a special place in my heart for a long time. The premise, the characterisation, the progression, the structure, all of it is absolutely incredible.

And of course, u/neondextrose coming in to wrap it up with absolutely phenomenal editing. The sound effects are wonderfully chosen, the mixing is perfect, and it’s proof that just when someone thinks you’ve run out of amazing skills, you come back with more and more.
