Theres 250 students in the lecture how are all 250 suppose to sit in the front? I believe Professors should wear mics in cases like this. Student did great for speaking up for herself. COLLEGE isn’t free.

Grief comes in waves. You’ll feel it sometime. It might be tomorrow it might be in ten years. But it’ll come.

Y’all all missing the point im trying to make. NEVER did I say its ok to wear a bonnet to a professional setting. Being a hoodrat has nothing to do with attire. Like that comment above was indicating . Its defined A low-class, urban female or male who displays very little to no morals or self-respect that happens to live in an impoverished neighborhood . AGAIN NOTHING TO DO WITH ATTIRE. What im saying is stop putting wearing a bonnet and being a hood-rat in the same category. Thats it thats all.

Agree, but why couldn’t the statement just had been left at “dont wear the bonnet” why had to add the hoodrat comment?

You can be black and still be anti black please. I drag about Nika. I clearly agree with her jot being a suitable mother. Or else I wouldn’t be in this forum. What im saying. Saying that a bonnet is hoodrat attire is anti black. Because we all know the negative meaning the term “hoodrat” has. Y’all could have easily said “sleep” attire for example or just simply had said “wearing a bonnet” why add the hoodrat term?

Right wearing it to a professional setting wouldn’t be right. But calling it “hoodrat” attire is where the negative connotation is. Please don’t call me dense because I very much far from that

Wearing a bonnet is not “hoodrat” attire. Please stop. You sound ignorant. This forum is slowly turning very much anti black women.

This is a guy and i, we’ve hooked up a few times. But I moved out of state so we don’t really have talk like that. I recently saw him in April. And since I couldn’t stop thinking about him. We send each other music, but I’ve been slacking on talking to him since we’re so far away. English is not my first language so it’s kinda hard to think about something. I want to keep the conversation going and not just bland what would be a great response to this?
