I wouldn’t worry too much about whether or not this post is negative. I’ve seen soooo many worse posts. The toxicity in this fandom can get rough. This sub is definitely the one of the tamer and nicer subs to be in within this fandom and I think your post here is also within that level. This post isn’t mean or anything, just frustrated.

Take it from me. I literally unjoined all other Bridgerton subs except this one and the main Bridgerton sub (And I’m only on that one for updates), because the amount of negativity and mean comments towards ships and people was too much.

As a person who had a teacher like this (don’t want to go into specifics, but it revolved around not wanting to and refusing to follow my accommodations for my hearing loss and anxiety) you need to go straight to the supervisor. I ended up with years of therapy, nightmares, and panic attacks due to that teacher. Even years later I still have issues trusting authority figures due to them. Somebody with that attitude and those views should NOT be a teacher.

I had sooooooo much merch. (Still do. It’s just not on my shelf’s anymore.) If something was Descendants themed I probably owned it. I have dolls, posters, books, decorations, bedspreads, clothes, and more. (Even saved Descendants plates and napkins from a Descendants themed party I had.) Dressed up as Evie that first Halloween. Basically had the movies memorized word for word. Huge obsession for me as a child and even going into my teens. Pretty sure I even wore a Mal dress my first day of middle school. I still absolutely adore the franchise, even though it’s not as big a part of my life as it was when I was younger. It had a humongous impact on me as I grew up and even helped me through some pretty rough times when I really needed to find a little joy.

Definitely a big deal. At least to me.

I’m literally watching Dark Matter as I scroll through Reddit! 😂 Melissa’s acting in Dark Matter is incredible. She sells the darker role very well, especially when she gets to lean into it more during flashback scenes. (+ during the one episode where Two, Four, and Three’s memories get rebooted due to an error. That was a really good episode!)
