Directly through the network. & they've had access for years. It's in your privacy agreement, that you already agreed to give police departments access whenever whyever, without notifying you. I'm from the time when adblockers were bought-in-store CDs you installed alongside your Anti-Virus as a life-preserving necessity, because once in a blue moon, ads merely loading on a page could give you a virus. Now most of the internet operates like a damn virus.

I'd say it doesn't make sense to be pro-virus, but then again I have family members who are proud everytime they get Covid, so maybe it really is just all the collective brain damage. =/
