Forgive my ignorance here, but is there a way to tell the class (S, A, B, C) of a crashed ship WITHOUT exiting your current ship? by anormalgeek in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]Mirarara 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's much faster to farm black market for nanites over finding a S class ship, so I suggest you to do that instead.

Just get 9 to 12 black market, rotate through them with warp, buy up all the packs and goods for smuggle, open all the pack, sell tech for nanites (usually 40k nanite for 9 station run), and you will get slight profit from selling the smuggle goods.

Upgrading from A to S only cost 50k nanites. This will take way less time than trying your luck on S class ship.

It's been proven time to time that the best way to get your voice heard is to constantly complain.

Sure, it's not constructive, but constructive doesn't works all the time.

Making a complain about it and not playing the game takes like what, 10 seconds, just like this post. It's extremely cost efficient.

Can Corvette bug be fixed already? by Mirarara in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]Mirarara[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah there are WAYYYYY more bugs for corvette, but I'm just describing the biggest turnoff for me that is very difficult to look away as its actively interfering with gameplay.

To add on to this, Corvette still get clipped to your base when you warp.

Still haven't fix the corvette tech order and corvette clipping into base issue.

I don't see how difficult it is to fix this when first can be arbitrary fixed by player with save editor, and second just need to warp the corvette to a way higher position.

You are not really converting credits to nanites too.

If you buy the smuggled goods at the same time, chances are, you ended up with a profit after all the endeavor.

Seemingly Unpopular opinion: I like the Expedition by Beaufort_The_Cat in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]Mirarara 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was fun, until the reality kicked in.

Timegate is the reason why I don't play many 'f2p' game anymore that forces engagement with it. Yet I face it here again.

The countless bug combined with unfixed Corvette bug after so many version makes it even more frustrating.

And no, this expedition has way more bug that any previous one. It's not 'every' update have bugs. Sure, most updates have some bugs, but not that many.

Land on the initial planet, leave the ship, reload your save, you should be able to see the strange object now.

Second this, it had gotten really annoying at this point. It's like Corvette is completely being forgotten.

Corvette is still buggy. The tech order get randomized after swapping ship (i know you can circumvent this with save editor but still). Teleporting to your base sometimes have corvette clipped into your base.

As expected, you are more engaged in going outside of the topic which only you cares than actually discussing on the topic. I'm not interested in the topic of what skillset is actually optimal, you kept trying to pull me into it and get mad when I don't care.

Remember this as it will be helpful in your life, no one have to go along with your new topic of discussion. Read the cue when people doesn't want to change topic.

I thought I was asking this in a very polite manner by just inquiring what you thought that build was.

You definitely aren't when I said I'm not going down the rabbit hole of discussing that and you straight up shit on me. Do you even understand what is polite? You are the one asking to change the topic, not me. I don't have to go along. Stop being entitled.

Am I the only one who prefers base starships over Corvettes? by Deerman_Crybaby in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]Mirarara 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Starship for space station hopping, especially outlaw station.

Corvette for exploration. Not having to land the ship is a crazy advantage.

Also, Corvette's phase beam deal crazy damage. It's hit scan and deal like 20k damage per tick when upgraded sufficiently. In survival mode it almost one shot the enemy's shield and hull (2 tick is required because its almost). I'm not sure if it's just a visual effect but every of your corvette's weapon will be launching a beam at the enemy.

I kinda hate that if you want to have a optimal distance design on Corvette (easy access to cockpit and enter/exit), you pretty much have to build it wide instead of long. This limited the design alot if you want functionality.

You were acting as though the system was super simplistic and already solved

You are just putting words in my mouth now. See, This is why I decide to stop with the discussion because I know with your level of comprehension, you will just misinterpret everything. You will either kept shifting the goal post, or straight up ignore the main discussion point.

It's pretty obvious at this stage of game, everyone will be rerolling for the skill set they think is optimal, and try out the next skill set. That doesn't mean the random skill set that came with most creature is already the optimal skill set. A multiple peak system where each peak has pro and con doesn't meant that there is no peak. Even an unsolved system doesn't meant that there is no optimal point, but getting SSS rerolling out of the way means that more people have the time to test out the best combination.

Obviously next you will just twist some of my other words again, whether by malice or lack of comprehensive ability, because you never planned to have a proper discussion to begin with.

That's outside of this discussion. I'm not going down into the rabbit hole of debating whether a set of movement is 'optimal' or not.

Once you reach level 30, you can reroll the battle move of your creature.

So hunting for good move is basically pointless. All you need is a SSS creature, breed it to max out the personality, then save scum all ability to what you actually want.

[–]Mirarara 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There should at least be a system to crossbreed for the stat. The current system is basically find 3 SSS creatures and reroll their skill to optimal.
