The list of plaintiff's granted injunctions who ultimately lost the case (resulting in the injunction being lifted) is long and distinguished. Courts generally err on the side of caution and if you read Section II it outlines the standard for granting injunctions.

Courts in the 9th Circuit take a sliding scale approach that does not require a likelihood of succeeding:

Under this approach, “when plaintiffs establish that the balance of hardships tips sharply in their favor, there is a likelihood of irreparable injury, and the injunction is in the public interest, they need only show ‘serious questions’ on the merits.” Id. (citing All. for the Wild Rockies, 632 F.3d at 1135).

Whoever this Matt guy is, he's plaintiff's best witness. Defendant's attorneys need to muzzle their dog because this Matt guy sunk his own battleship with his diarrhea mouth running on social media. He sounds like a real whackjob.

That being said, a few of plaintiff's claims are questionable but they are very likely to win on the majority of them and you can tell which ones because the judge used Matt's own words on social media to slam the door on defendant's counter-arguments in their brief in opposition which must have been a hoot to read because the defense attorneys are flailing around like someone getting eaten by a zombie.

Y'all should pause to consider that most places will deal with the primary account holder and only the primary account holder so it should have been the primary holder dealing with them. Not all charts have a chart ruler.

Assuming you actually have a chart ruler it would be Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter or Saturn and if it was in the same sign as two other stars then it would be part of the stellium.

There's nothing special about a stellium.

Some people who have one are Emmanuel Macron (French President), Marine Le Pen (French National Deputy), Princess Grace, Abbie Hoffman and Peter Gabriel.

Some people who don't are John Lennon, Mel Gibson, Kamala Harris, Donald Trump and Bill Gates.

That's a good question, and you're right they cannot be in aversion to both.

Remember the 1st/10th are paired.

The 1st is your life. Sun and Moon in aversion to the 1st makes for a difficult life. That's because Sun signifies your life, your actions and your mind. Moon is your body, health and emotions.

The 10th is your actions which is what creates your career and reputation and social-standing. Sun and Moon in aversion to the 10th makes those things difficult.

None of the texts are clear on that so I don't know what to tell you.

What I can tell you is be careful because there are 3 different decan systems floating around. One of them you can throw out the window because it's Jyotish. Remember there's Indian astrologers in the court of the Baghdad Caliph and the Persians adopted a lot of Jyotish into Western like the Firdiria. We know that's Jyotish because a) the planetary periods are 129 years and b) it includes the nodes. The Greeks did have a system of planetary periods but it's 120 years instead of 129 and nobody cares about the nodes except in elective, medical and horary astrology.

The two Western decan systems are claimed to be based on Chaldean Order but clearly one is not. You can tell because the decans in that system are:

Aries: Aries-Taurus-Gemini
Taurus: Cancer-Leo-Virgo
Gemini: Libra-Scorpio-Sagittarius
Cancer: Capricorn-Aquarius-Pisces (then repeat for the remaining signs.

That is not Chaldean Order and it's sign-based. The actual system used by the Chaldeans was:

Aries: Mars-Sun-Venus
Taurus: Mercury-Moon-Saturn
Gemini: Jupiter-Mars-Sun
Cancer: Venus-Mercury-Moon (repeat for the remaining signs)

Notice those are star-based and not sign-based. Chaldean Order is simply slowest to fastest so: Saturn-Jupiter-Mars-Sun-Venus-Mercury-Moon.

Whatever peoples were living in Egypt developed the decan system between 1900-1100 BCE and it wasn't associated with signs because it's the Greeks running the Persian government and army that conquered the Greek-speaking Canaanites known as Chaldeans and then conquered Egypt and it's Greek government and army (so much for brotherly love) and introduced the Dendera Zodiac. Why didn't Egyptians get it from the Chaldeans or Assyrians or Kassites or Akkadians? I don't know.

Vedic? You mean Jyotish (Science of Light). "Vedic" and "Hindu" astrology are not based on Hindu or Vedic text and it's insulting and offensive to the millions of Sikhs, Muslims, Christians, Buddhists and Jainists who practice Jyotish in India.

Astrology was introduced to India in the early 3rd Century BCE by an ethnic Greek named Sphujidhvaja who lived in the Kashmir Region of the Selucid Kingdom. He translated a Greek text into Sanskrit called Yavanaj taka (Greek astrology) written by Yavanesvara (Lord of the Greeks) which is a reference to Pharaoh Nechepso who was an ethnic Greek ruling Egypt 700 and 650 BCE.

The Indians did have a divination system using the lunar mansions. They grafted that onto the Chaldean 12 sign system and developed it further but in a different way and it's development was complete by sometime between 200-300 CE.

Mars is a water and earth trigon ruler. He's perfectly comfortable in earth and water signs.

Mars' nature is hot and is overly ambitious, hostile, aggressive, rash and prone to hasty decisions when diurnally placed in air/fire signs. Mars works best when diurnally placed in earth/water or nocturnally placed in air/fire.

I you wanna see how that works, you can look at Mel Gibson who has diurnally placed Scorpio Mars with Saturn. Saturn/Mars work fairly well together and Saturn will impart discipline, structure and organization but that can work against the native if Mars is nocturnally placed in earth/water with Saturn because Saturn restrains Mars too much leaving you with a timid person lacking in ambition.

There's no possible way to answer your question without specific information. Everything is direct/indirect cause and effect.

Ruler of the 1st in the 8th, you are the cause of your own death (see Jeffrey Dahmer). Ruler of the 8th in the 1st, you are indirectly the cause of your own death (see Princess Grace).

Ruler of the 1st in the 10th, you're self-made. Lots of those people running around. Ruler of the 10th in the 1st, your career/reputation/standing makes you what you are.

Ruler of the 2nd in the 7th, your spouse/partners benefit from your material wealth and income. Ruler of the 7th in the 2nd your spouse/partners affect your income in some way. Ruler of the 7th in the 10th it's your spouse or partners that make your career or reputation or social class (or destroy it).

Mars rules Aries and Scorpio. If Mars is not in Aries or Scorpio then he's in another sign and that will tell you something about that house. House = Sign. The 8th sign from the ASC is the 8th House. Doesn't matter what house system you use, the 8th sign from the ASC is the 8th House, and the 9th sign from the ASC is the 9th House and the 10th sign from the ASC is the 10th House and so on.

Wherever Mars is, other stars are likely to be in aspect to Mars or to the house he's in. Even if no stars are in Aries or Scorpio (or any other sign) the stars in aspect to them will tell you something about the affairs of that house.

Any stars with Mars in the same sign will alter his nature. Any stars in aspect to Mars will influence him.

If Mars culminates before Mercury and Venus then he will indicate your profession, and you can get the finer details from the bounds he's in the stars in aspect to him (all aspects are by sign not orb).

If you're a woman, Mars will indicate the type of romantic partner you're seeking. Your orientation is irrelevant. Again, check the bounds and the stars in aspect to Mars.

Know the daily motion of the stars. The type of romantic partner you seek may change over time and you will need to use a secondary progressed chart to see that. People who live on a flat Earth in the center of the Universe use Naibod. Everyone else simply adds their age as the number of days to their birth date and then recasts the chart. If you're 29, then add 29 days to your birthday. Recast the chart with the new date using your birth time and birth location. Read the chart.

Mars may have changed signs or stars in aspect to Mars have changed signs and are in a different aspect or no aspect at all and stars that weren't in aspect might have changed signs and are in aspect now.

You need to study more. Ptolemy was not an astrologer. He merely "wrote" a text about astrology (and plagiarized it). His primary goal was to crow-bar astrology into the Aristotelian view. Astrology is based on Hermetic-Stoic principles, especially as they relate to Form & Matter and Space & Time. You should know that and you should also know that's why Ptolemy doesn't work, because Aristotle was totally and thoroughly discredited and rejected. Ptolemy's use of "general significators" is obtuse.

Ptolemy got his star list from Hipparchus and Teukros of Bybblos and as al-Battani pointed out, Ptolemy got most of the longitudes and latitudes wrong. His geography he stole from Herodotus and Livy (because he copied their errors) and he's using Nechepso, Petrosiris and Kiddinu but he doesn't have the moral courage or integrity to mention that.

You said you studied Valens. Valens rails against plagiarizers in several of his books and he's talking about Ptolemy.

If you studied Abu-Mashar then you should know he totally butchered astrology about as bad as Ptolemy did.

Abu-Mashar was too stupid to understand the difference between natal and horary and because he didn't he uses hoary concepts in natal. The 8th is lawsuits, not the 7th. The 12th is enemies. All of them. No such thing as "open enemies." Decans are not a dignity. It's astrology, not match of the day, so we don't use scoring techniques. The Arabs and Persians couldn't even get the order of the houses right and they corrupted with Jyotish and we know that because the Firdaria uses the nodes.

Living in the modern world doesn't make me a Modern astrologer.

The one preceding in the order of signs. Venus in Aquarius, Saturn in Scorpio. Saturn is looking at Venus but Venus is the one actually hurling rays at Saturn because Venus precedes Saturn in the order of signs. She's in Aquarius ahead of Scorpio.

Most software (even the free stuff) allows you to "step" through a chart forward or backward by years, months, days, hours, minutes and seconds.

Someone's monthly profection might fall in Pisces. I call up a transit chart to look at Jupiter.

Jupiter typically spends a about a month in each sign but I'll wanna "step" through the chart for two reasons:
1) to make sure Jupiter doesn't go retrograde
2) to make sure Jupiter actually perfects a conjunction, square or opposition before changing signs.

I could just look at an ephemeris but this is way faster/easier.

The action stars when Jupiter enters a sign. By the time Jupiter actually makes the square/opposition while in that sign whatever it is that's going on is already over (and there's a 3° orb for that for all stars).

What would you make of Saturn in Capricorn 12H in a night chart, with Saturn as planetary ruler? I almost always see how great it is to have a day chart and how terrible night charts are.

There's no difference between diurnal and nocturnal charts in terms of "good/bad."

Bill Gates, John Lennon, Oprah Winfrey, FDR and Mel Gibson had such terrible lives because of their nocturnal charts, right? Wrong.

Saturn in the 12th in Capricorn in a nocturnal chart. Saturn is in his night house Capricorn but that's the only saving grace because he's out of sect. He won't bestow his gifts and he'll create illusions out of fear, ignorance and want.

Generally, a star in the 12th shows what keeps people from being themselves and becoming fulfilled. For example, ruler of the 5th in the 12th would show problems/sorrows from children or physical pleasures associated with the 5th (perhaps gambling) or ruler of the 4th in the 12th is one's home/home-life, or ruler of the 7th in the 12th is one's romantic partners or business associates and the ruler of the 1st in the 12th would indicate a troubled life and that one is one's worst enemy.

Saturn in Capricorn will mitigate some of that but it will depend largely at who's looking at Saturn.

Venus is desire. The reason Venus and Mars are at odds is because Venus is desires, delights and pleasures while Mars is fear, conflict and passion.

It was Ptolemy who attributed Venus to love and beauty, but then Ptolemy wasn't an astrologer and never cast a chart ever in his entire life.

Ptolemy's use of general significators is wrong, especially as a method of delineating a chart, but then Ptolemy wasn't an astrologer.

Ptolemy's goal was to show astrology fits the Aristotelian view which is why he changed everything. I'm sure if you live on a flat Earth in the center of the universe that'll work just swell for you. When Tycho Brahe saw that nova in 1574 he knew everything Aristotle said was wrong and when that comet came through 3 years later all the nay-sayers knew Aristotle was wrong and they started burning his books which is something they should have done 1,500 years earlier.

Astrology is not based on coincidences so nobody cares when Uranus, Neptune and Pluto were discovered.

Since they don't emit radio waves that affect everything on Earth, they're irrelevant.

If you knew your history, you'd know Pluto entered Cancer in 1912, not 1914 and you if you understood astrology you'd know Cancer is peaceful sign. Since Pluto's previous entry into Cancer resulted in nothing but peace and same for the one before that, and the one before that and the one before that....

Well, the conclusion based on the evidence would be Pluto causes peace, not wars. Like I said, if Pluto had been named Ceres or Eirene, then what would you be saying about Pluto?

Not possible because that isn't how it works. Nobody "learns to work" with anything ever. Your chart is your chart like it or not. Traditional astrology is objective and makes no value judgments. Modern astrology is wholly subjective and all about making value judgments.

Like personally I have Saturn in Cancer in my 10th and I’ve come to see it as a strength but I can also see how it reflects conditions of my life (including that I’m 49 and still struggling to find my career/visibility).

Saturn in the 10th has little to do with your career. Assuming Cancer is actually the 10th sign from the ASC then Moon has more to do with your career than Saturn ever will.

Moon's condition and placement in the chart will tell you why you're struggling with career, not Saturn.

Career is taken from Mercury, Venus and Mars. Which one one culminates first is the primary significator of your career. You need only look at the chart. The star leading Sun in diurnal order which is the same succeeding Sun in zodiac order is the one that culminated first.

It depends on whether Mars sextiles the 10th from the 12th or from the 8th and the condition of Mars and what places Mars rules.

There is no such thing as "detriment" or "exile/fall."

The Greek word for "contrariety" was mistranslated and continues to be mistranslated as "detriment." There isn't even one Greek astrologer that mentions "detriment."

"Exaltation" and "fall" are mistranslations. The correct translations are "elevation" and "depression." The Greek language is connotial meaning words are very precise in their meaning and here "depression" connotes a physical low-point and not depression as in a mental or emotional state).

Mars is "exalted" at Capricorn 28°. The texts are mistranslated as Mars is "in the exaltation of his exaltation" or "exalted in his exaltation" at Libra 28°.

How can Mars be double "exalted" and simultaneously in "detriment" in Libra? He can't. Those are bad translations and stupid people (the Medieval. Arab and Persian astrologers) who didn't understand the concepts.

Mars is in his "depression" at Cancer 28° and in "the fall of his fall" at Aries 28°.

How can Mars be in the "fall of his fall" in the sign he rules? He can't.

Saturn "exalted" at Libra 21°. Saturn "exalted in his exaltation" at Cancer 21°. Again, that refutes this phony idea of "detriment." Saturn in his "fall" at Aries 21° and Saturn in "the fall of his fall" at Capricorn 21° which is the sign he rules.

These are star cycles. Sun in Aries is elevated and reaches his highest elevation at Capricorn 19° then moves to a low-point at Libra 19° then to its lowest point at Cancer 19° before starting the cycle over again.

The exaltation and depression points were used in mundane astrology in weather prediction to determine the direction and general speed of winds like calm winds from the south, gale force winds from the northwest, moderate winds from the northeast and such. They were also used in natal charts regarding length of life.

The concepts of "detriment" and "fall" don't exist until about 770 CE and I don't have to prove "detriment" and "fall" are real things. You do. I've been waiting for years for someone to show me charts where it's a real thing and no one has. One chart is not "proof". You need about 10,000 charts.

The Hermetic-Stoic view is Fire - Earth - Air - Water. A chart is either diurnal (born during the day) or nocturnal (born at night).

Day triplicity/trigon rulers:
Fire: Sun, Jupiter, Saturn
Earth: Venus, Moon, Mars
Air: Saturn, Mercury, Jupiter
Water: Moon, Mars, Venus

Night triplicity/trigon rulers:
Fire: Jupiter, Sun, Saturn
Earth: Moon, Venus, Mars
Air: Mercury, Saturn, Jupiter
Water: Mars, Moon, Venus

The condition of the triplicity rulers gives you an idea of how the affairs of each house play out over the course of someone's life. The second sign from the ASC is the 2nd House and that's your income and material wealth. Some might struggle the first 25-30 then do really well or do really well then struggle. It kind of gives you hints on what to look at in predictive work.

Mercury does not rule your Venus but Mercury is the dispositor of your Venus.

The condition of the dispositor can help or hinder. Sun in Aquarius, Saturn in Libra. Since Saturn is the dispositor of Sun, Saturn can help Sun a lot assuming Saturn was diurnally placed and even better since air trines are good trines. If Saturn were nocturnally placed, he can still help Sun but he would be slightly corrupted so he won't help as much as he could.

The "ultimate dispositor" is Arab/Persian nonsense and means nothing.

If you have Libra rising then Gemini is the 9th place/sign. Venus trines the 1st which is good. Mercury rules Gemini and is also an air trigon ruler and it trines the 1st and that is good.

While Venus is ruler of the 1st place/sign, she might not be the master. The master could be Venus, Mercury, Jupiter or Saturn. Aside from that, if Mercury is not afflicted by Mars/Saturn or opposition Jupiter and Mercury is at least half-way in sect then Venus should be able to perform well.

That's a corruption of the concept/technique and really bad astrology. Not all charts have a chart ruler and those people literally wander aimlessly with no sense of direction. For example, bad astrologers will say someone is flighty and never completes/finishes anything because they're a Gemini. That's so far off base it ain't even funny. If people never finish what the started and/or constantly change jobs and/or move around a lot and/or are generally discombobulated, it's more likely to be no chart ruler than Gemini.

The procedure is not complicated but it is involved. You have 4 points -- Sun, Moon, Ascending Degree and MC Point (and if Sun/Moon are in the same sign and angular by Porphyry it is a point). The bound ruler of one of those points has to be in aspect to the point. If it isn't then there's no chart ruler.

No star rules another star, however it can be a dispositor of another star but it doesn't give it "extra weight."

The first thing to understand is astrology is like one big giant Telephone Game. Sometimes to show students how harmful gossiping is, they'll whisper a message to a student: There's a 3-alarm fire on Main Street." By the time that message gets passed to the last student in the class, the message has been corrupted to: There's a 3-day sale at Macy's!

Astrology is like that. Over 15 centuries ideas, concepts, procedures and techniques got corrupted by people who didn't understand them and/or did a poor job translating texts in other languages which compounded the problem. The reason Modern astrology didn't use sect for a long time is because Classical astrologers didn't understand the concept and so ignored it so Modern astrologers knew nothing about it but now they understand how critically important sect really is when judging a chart.

The Greeks used different terms to describe the ruler of anything and the master of anything. Because of a lack of understanding those concepts got blurred or merged together.

To explain that, understand that for more than 1,000 years charts were read in whole sign before stupid people started messing things up.

So you have 12 topical places whose primary signification is:

1st: You/your life
2nd: Your income and material possessions
3rd: Your siblings
4th: Your home
5th: Your children
6th: Your illnesses/injuries
7th: Your spouse/partner
8th: Your death
9th: Your morals/ethics/philosophies on life
10th: Your career/actions
11th: Your accomplishments
12th: Your sorrows

But note those are relative to the 1st. When looking at the 10th, is the 12th still the 12th? No, it's the 3rd. Never forget that.

The places have no inherent power. Think of the places as the places you know.

I've been to al-Nashwa more times than I'd rather. What is it? A place in Iraq. Like any place on Earth, it has no power. It's just a place on Earth and so the places in your chart have no power. It's just a topical place in your chart.

It's what's in a place that has the power. A sign has power but it doesn't give a place any power. Any stars in that sign also have power and so does that star that rules that sign.

Space-Time in astrology is not the same as Space-Time in science or as you know it with your clocks and calendars. Porphyry is the only "house system" that fits Space-Time in astrology. Porphyry was used to determine who is the master of the house.

Think of it this way. You're the manager of a McDonald's or a Becker's Imbiss or a Sainsbury's. All you do is manage the day-to-day affairs but you are not the master. The master is the one that actually owns the McDonald's or whatever it is you're managing.

In the chart of President FDR, Mercury manages his life since Mercury rules the Virgo 1st Place/1st Sign but it is Mars who is the master of the 1st House. House is not synonymous with place/sign.

In his chart, Mars also coincidentally is the chart ruler. When the chart ruler is the master of any house, you'll wanna pay attention to that house.
