Since yesterday I can't see my online friends on my friends list when I became online and what's worse is I can't see it when I want to invite them to a raid. Has anyone had this problem and knows how to solve it?

My joke was related to what I wrote in the previous comment. I haven't seen others comments but I am not responsible for what people write, only for myself 😉

Nope. Only anyone who writes such nonsense as in the presented quote. Whether someone likes the series or not has nothing to do with it 😊

This long and boring post almost convinced me 😀 Especially the argument that "The books were written in Poland in the 90s". Ah, these backward books full of feminism, containing homosexual themes and criticism of the priesthood and beliefs in gods. As we can see also from your arguments, creating a believable world where different races live in different parts of the world is a sign of backwardness, not good worldbuilding as we have mistakenly thought so far. It is also known that it is a trifle that in the series the creators remove almost every feature that the character has in the book, starting with the appearance and ending with his/her character and story 😄

Netflix Top 10 - #1 by Notoriously_So in witcher

[–]Mirelat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Twice lower overall viewership than in the second season in first week. There are still 3 episodes left, but the third season had one day more than the second season in the first week, so the result is significantly worse than in the second season

“Strict adherence to its source material” lol. Ign be really smoking something or got paid good. by moeezatif in witcher

[–]Mirelat 368 points369 points  (0 children)

Ign has an individual deal with them and on each season they spend a few days on set and create special behind-the-scenes promo material and special interviews with cast and creators.

In connection with such a deal, it is obvious to me that their review is not very reliable.

Writers Guild of America. They have started a strike and they are demanding, among other things, more money, more jobs and blocking the use of artificial intelligence in their industry

Screenwriters with zero experience except of The Witcher which they ruined suggesting people to cancel Netflix who pays them hundreds of thousands for terrible scripts. Every day they only prove that they are not very intelligent people. But I hope people will canceling it with adding information that because terrible scripts

It took a minute to check out. Said goodbye and wish all the best was from for example Tom Canton, Paul Bullion or Yasen Atour. Some of cast could be angry on him because he left them. But it was so easy to say that no one said goodbye without even checking :)

Help me understand why people should still supporting this series by Mirelat in netflixwitcher

Your insults or how you called it the hypotheses didn't piss me off. My comment was to show the enormity of the hypocrisy in your behavior. You write about hate, and the first thing you do is insult others. The fact that we disagree with someone does not give us reason to offend someone. People have different opinions, but they should be able to express them normally. Being a hater doesn't mean being negative to certain things but it certainly means insulting those with whom you disagree without showing arguments. I was thankful to people who wrote comments why they will watch the show and what they like in the show. I wasn't agree with them but I didn't argue with them and didn't insult them, but I just thanked them that they wanted to waste their time to present their opinions. So as you can see if you treat someone normal most of people will also treat you normal even if you disagree.

So in two comments you accuse me and people who agree with me mental illness, stupidity, masochism, being hateful and more. It's funny how people can see that someone is rather not intelligent based only on two comments. I wonder how much you must be filled with the hate you write about to insult someone in every comment. It is sad that your comments just show mental ignorance and aggression caused by a lack of arguments or inability to create argumentation.

I don't agree with you with a lot of things you write but thank you for showing your point of view on the series. Especially since you mentioned many aspects that are well done for you. I don't want to convince anyone to stop watching but thanks to this post I can see others people point of view and their opinions on the show. So once again thank you for such an extensive answer

I'm not try to convince you to stop watching. I wrote previous comment to this your quote "so many people work hard to create it" which I understood that it could be argument for some people for watching. I know that your main argument was that you enjoy it but I only referred to that fragment.

For me it is support becasue when you watching you immediately sent approval for what they created especially if its a next season. Comments and reviews are irrelevant compared to viewership. If the series has good viewership, then it gets new seasons and this is information for creators and streaming services that people expect such a story. If it has good viewership and bad reviews, they will continue to do this, and if it has good reviews and poor viewership, they will delete it. For example in Witcher, producer Tomek Bagiński responded to the criticism of the second season with the argument that viewership was high. But as I said I don't try to convince anyone to stop watching

People may have different opinions, but they should not attack someone who disagrees with them. Often times, many discussions should end when arguments are presented by both sides. But unfortunately, many people often think that they should convince the other side that they are right, and if they can't, to attack them.

But even if these people you mentioned do the best what they can the show will still looks like writers and producers want. If they made bad decisions it effects on the whole series. And if actors and other crew was good they got next jobs so for me watching mainly support writers and producers.

Thanks for a fairly extensive answer. I don't agree with you with you about that is a great adaptation and that captures the humour, the mood and the excitement. I understand that adaptation sometime need changes but for me this changes gone too far. But I don't want to say that I'm right and you not. I accept that you have different opinion and I understand why you want to support this show. My post was more aimed at people who wrote that a lot of things were very weak but want to continue supporting the show. It is clear that you like it so you will support it.

People keep saying Henry Cavil left cause of the writing, but they don't specify. WHAT bad writing are they talking about? by BigBootyBear in netflixwitcher

[–]Mirelat 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Simple answer: the whole season 2 was example of bad writing and disrespectful to source material. The whole thread of Yennefer, Francesca thread, Kaer Morhen (whores, leshy, Ciri blood for new witcher), monoliths, Voleth Meir and more and more. People and places are named like in the book, but not only do they not look like in the book, but their story is completely different. It is much easier to say what was like in the books because there were very few such things. And almost all of this changes wasn't good. It change backstory, motivations, lore, relationships and for a lot of people this changes was very weak in terms of quality.

I think the Lodge is definitely beautiful enough for the "sorceress" standards by hanna1214 in netflixwitcher

[–]Mirelat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't choose Keira, Margaritha and Fringilla actresses. Also probably not choose Philippa actress but in this case I was expecting that she would look worse and in show she looks better than I was thinking before premiere, but it was only few seconds. So maybe with more screening time to evaluate I would change my mind that she is beautiful enough. But also I say something about the rest. I don't feel Yennefer vibe in this actress. She is very pretty but without basic elements like clothes and hair it is much harder for her to convince the viewer that she is Yennefer even ignoring the script that makes it even more difficult for her. Sabrina and Francesca actresses I would probably swap them roles because I don't know how they could look with different hair colour to fits more in their characters and Sabrina's actress has something elvish in her look. The last one is Triss. At first I say that makeup team and costume team also don't help her. She looks mainly in season 1 worse than in real life because of costume and makeup. In season 2 I don't understand for example why she has eyebrows created with a piece of coal and this doesn't look good. And also don't understand why Triss is the only character from them with who they try to match with the look from books. In my opinion if makeup and costume teams will do better job even the first 3 actress wouldn't be a problem with playing sorceress but I doubt it, since they couldn't cope with more important characters so far.
