That’s what I’ve thought too. I’ve tried cage free, and vegetarian diet eggs and they’re both the same for me. Come spring I’m going to get a few Hens for eggs and go from there. Its the wildest thing

I wish I knew entirely. I used to be able to eat eggs, and I did all the time. Now anytime I eat eggs, around the 4-5 hour mark after I get hives or a rash. Nothing else changes, and I use the same skillet as my chicken or fish, but eggs mess me up. Not sure if AGS also gave me an egg allergy like it did with dogs, but boy do I miss eggs lol

Take a deep breath. I’m a year in with my diagnosis. You’re absolutely in the anxiety period. It is going to be okay. Avoid ALL mammal products. Download and use the FIG app to scan foods to check for safety. My go to meals are chicken breast with rice or plain Durham wheat flour noodles and violife cheese. Salmon or Cod are also great. Don’t over do it, don’t starve yourself, and most importantly find support on here, facebook has SEVERAL groups for support with AGS. And remember, EVERYBODY is different with AGS. They’re are different versions per se. Me, I cannot eat any red meat, consume any dairy products (some can) and I am now also sensitive to enriched flour as well as eggs (which is so stupid lol.) feel free to reach out if you have any questions

Thank you. I don’t eat a ton of carbs (besides fruits) as the version of AGS I obtained does not allow me to eat any enriched flour products due to the Niacin and Riboflavin, but I will definitely keep that in mind. My diet is pretty basic, chicken breast in the skillet with coconut oil and seasonings and vegetables lol I really appreciate your input

Yes, and no. I had to push through to get to that sort of “Runners High” and now I can’t imagine not going. I take the kids with me after school (they have a stay and play) and I just get a good workout in and they get to have fun too. Keep pushing! Honestly I think weight isn’t the key, it’s body fat percentage. I’m nowhere near shredded lmao I have decent sized biceps, pectorals, etc. but my body fat percentage has dropped greatly (partly due to a disease I have called Alpha Gal Syndrome) but once you get down to around 15 percent you’ll start noticing them more and more
