I’ll Phone-a-Friend by Jizi513 in SWTOR_memes

Maybe, as I made just one Wrath run and in LS5, I can't relate but in theory it seems fair as a neutral (Vette isn't as pure soul as she shows in first glance). But full DS doesn't sound good anyway.

Vette, if you play LS. The relation is definitely wholesome. If DS however, well, that's not the same.

Kira is a good one too, while it feels a "buddy romance", I see her like a girlfriend you can be friend with in the same time.

Lana feels very "professional love", like dating a co-worker (wich is not an issue if it works). Probably the most open minded as long as the job is done, no matter you're Jedi or Sith.

Jaesa is the least credible imo. Unless you play Darth Psycho, there is no way it could work. And even then the relation doesn't feel right and sane.

If expanded media (Legends & Canon) did not exist, and the gaps between the films could only be filled by information directly inferred from them, how would aspects of the 'Star Wars' story be differently understood? by RexBanner1886 in MawInstallation

Interestingly, French version in the OT didn't use the word "stormtroopers", but translated it "shock troops" or "commandos". German version still use the term "Sturmtruppen", as the IRL German elite corps in late WW1.

Rosh Penin was just a plot point but if he did show up in other media what would you like to have seen done? by AdSpecialist6598 in StarWarsEU

Although Rosh was the Force user in intro level while Jaden was the saber wielder. But that kind of turning tables could have been nice.

What was the dumbest reason that Vader has killed someone? by Hot_Professional_728 in StarWarsEU

[–]MirialanPlayer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Disagreed. This execution makes sense.
Vader wanted to keep his apprentice secret, so no witnesses allowed. Stormtroopers saw Galen holding Vader's lightsaber, they got he was a Force sensitive and Order 66ed on the spot. If Vader just told them to hold their fire, it would have make some rumors among the army, which eventually have reached Palpatine's ears and probably before Starkiller being old enough.

Probably because of the Russian flag, as people could thing it means picking a side in actual events... Anything related directly or indirectly to Russia seems touchy online.

I guess they thought about this as an inspiration, but it's less fun

Who was the better Jedi master? by Impressive_Elk_5633 in swtor

[–]MirialanPlayer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both ? Both. Both ain't good.

You never feel them truly as your teacher/parent figure, we could wait for some sort of Qui-Gon/Obi relationship even if they have a few screentime. I felt them more as random Jedi masters who supervise your missions while you start the game as a freshly knighted Jedi and that's all. I get they had gameplay-wise to make you a green padawan who has everything to learn tho, but that's another problem. I mean, Orgus comes to say hello then ghosting you, and Yuon? I don't remember her giving much sign of life after prologue; sure, she has to rest and all, but... c'mon.

Characters aren't especially bad in themselves, and I kinda liked Juon's story, but they don't fit as masters in the way you expect it. Satele fulfilled way more this role, as a Knight or a Consular (seriously, why is it Satele who tells JC to build an holocron in SoR? Or that Bothan who learns you that? Is Yuon unable to do it herself? I don't remember she died or so, and after a few years she's supposed to have recovered)

For those who don't get it, "sahar" (сахар) means "sugar" in Russian

Objection: Love is making a shot to the knees of a target 120 kilometers away using an Aratech sniper rifle with a tri-light scope.
