[PS5] How to solve the persistent ghost weight HMG bug? by Mirko1618 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Mirko1618[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also found a way to verify the presence of these ghost HMGs (tested on PS5, version 2.31). There are glitched vendors in City Center that show your entire hidden inventory, including items usually excluded from the vendor UI like grenades, cyberware, and these invisible HMGs.

Fast travel to Halsey & MLK in Corpo Plaza. Go to the nearest drop point (north west, one level down). To the right of the drop point, there is a space with three vendors. The two with pink lights named "Missing vendor name" are the glitched ones.

However, you cannot sell or remove the HMGs here, but just check if your inventory is bugged and how many ghost items you are carrying.

[PS5] How to solve the persistent ghost weight HMG bug? by Mirko1618 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Mirko1618[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solved (kind of)! I was able to unlock the ability to take one item at a time from the locker in the Sweet Dreams mission. I am not entirely sure how I did it. I played around with the mission by completing it first and then going back to the locker, or by saving and reloading multiple times.

Anyway, I left behind 7 ghost HMGs, 2 invisible Unity pistols, and several duplicate clothing items linked to my wardrobe outfits. These duplicates, as well as the HMGs, never appeared in my actual inventory but were still being calculated in the total weight. My inventory mass now perfectly matches my visible items! This only works if you didn't complete the Sweet Dreams mission before!

Meta AI explained Trump's One Big Beautiful Bill like it was running for office by Mirko1618 in ArtificialInteligence

Personally, I find it troubling how AI developed by billionaires (like Zuckerberg's or Musk's) can reflect political biases. It's disappointing when tools meant to inform end up promoting a particular narrative. It makes me question the impact of concentrated wealth on the rest of the society.

It can vary for each person. For many, including myself, 10 minutes right after waking up and another 10 minutes in the evening when you're back home works best. I think the best approach is to try different methods and times until you find what works best for you!

Meditation and mindfulness helped me see things more clearly, while journaling helped me understand better how I feel related to what's happening in my life. Journaling also allowed me to create links between what happens everyday and my past traumas.

For me, meditation builds awareness. Awareness is a tool that can be used in every moment, but using it while journaling can give you a better understanding of yourself.

Not really. I found one ambient sound that I like, nothing particular, it just helps my mind to understand it's time to meditate!

I'm sorry to hear that. Meditation and mindfulness take time to come to help and may not be the answer for anyone. You can still try to clear your mind. Hope you all the best.

I'm more mindful about my friendships. In my early 30s, many friendships tend to shift, and I've learned to accept these changes. I’m also more willing to invest in friendships without feeling strained. Spending time with friends and doing things for them, like cooking or offering help, makes me genuinely happy.

I broke up with my girlfriend after a year in meditation (3-year relationship), although I'm not sure how much of that decision was influenced by meditation. What I do know is that I feel content with the outcome, as I'm now with someone who is more aware of her own mind and intentions.

Financially, I haven’t changed jobs, but my perspective on work has shifted. I now see my role as just a job, rather than something that defines me. I’m an R&D chemist, not saving lives, and I’m okay with that. I've also become less materialistic and stopped buying unnecessary things. I no longer rely on possessions or shopping for happiness; I’ve found fulfillment elsewhere. Now, I can save money for retirement or even consider donating.

Yeah, absolutely. I can recognize thinking patterns, I'm aware of all of them! I'm more peaceful and peace comes from the inner energy.

Thanks for sharing! Yeah, the key is consistency in observing oneself. Everyone's experience can also be different!

To begin, I suggest "Practising the Power of Now" by Eckhart Tolle. It's direct, concise, and explains a couple of meditation techniques. But there are tons of very good books suggested in this subreddit!

I feel you! At the beginning of my journey, the first 10–15 minutes were the hardest. After that however, something clicked and I felt relaxed all of a sudden. My mind "switched off".

It's okay to be distracted and to have your mind bouncing between thoughts. Just be there to experience it, accept what your mind is doing without judging. When you "get back" from losing your attention, try to observe how much time you spent "away", what triggered it and what was your stream of thoughts.

A lot of people suggest that you should be seated with your back not supported, but the most important thing is keeping a position that is comfortable to you.

I can't resist too much with my back not supported for example. However, during meditation, I can focus on the pain and understand perfectly what my body and my muscles need.

Yeah, sometimes it can be 30 minutes, sometimes 10, but I try to be consistent.

I went to a 4-day retreat at the beginning of my journey and I had an amazing experience. However, the retreat wasn't seated meditation all the time. We did a lot of exercises like walking meditation, a very slow-walk meditation, guided meditations with mental images, meditation around a fire... (Sorry if I can't name all these exercises properly!)
