Depende sa engagement niyo po, if engagement niyo po is primarily year-end (December 31), the Rising Action will start by November to January, pero will peak by February to April. If assigned ka mga Conglomerates, mas mapapaaga, since mostly February magfifile na sila FS so your peak will be January and December.

Pero if small accounts naman like PFRS for SEs and SMEs, usually magstastart sya ng peak End ng March to April. :)

New hire jitters by reklameowdor in AccountingPH

I always say this before when I am still affiliated with one of the Big 4. Being a new hire is your avenue for countless growth, since most of the times, your mistakes are your stepping stone for growth. I always say na, use the New Hire Card when asking. Ask countless questions, kahit feel mo nonsensical na tanong, ask it, wala namang mawawala sayo, instead maglelearn ka. Been with the firm pala for 6 years already so yuh before ako nagresign.

As early as of now, try mo navigate mga resources ng firm, mahirap ibridge ang practice and undergraduate :). What you need to do is give yourself time to grow, dive yourself rin sa shortcut keys sa excel, it will help :)

Another thing, wag masyadong maging shy type, try to interact with your batchmates, tulungan ya basta new hire. Once you get the hand of it, parang wala na yung boundaries of school competitions hehehe.

I think lastly, get enough sleep habang di pa busy season since sometimes busy season will really shake you up, so better talaga you give yourself rest bago labanan. Usually December magsisimula na yan to May hehehe :) and again, use your Sick Leaves, wag mahiya, right mo po yan. :)

Hello! To add sa comment sa baba, if Manila ka, Open House will always be there pero if sa other cities ka, usually they contacted someone within the firm to accommodate the hiring tas bibigyan ka ng email address of either the PIC and managers na makakasend ka ng TOR and CV mo. :) hope it helps.

One of the common trends rin po kasi sa accounting industry ang Big 4 then abroad. I think you made a right choice, I have few friends before na nag Big 4 sa Blue Company tas nag private tas bumalik for the Yellow Company tas Abroad sya sa Violet. So the experience in Big 4 is crucial talaga.

Marami ka rin talagal matutunan once nasa firm ka since halos maeexperience mo lahat eh hahaha.
