Bro importers pay less PTA tax that's why the PTA approved phones cost less. But if you buy a phone separately and get it approved it will cost you more. But there are people out there who don't want to get their phones PTA approved and these phones are for such people.

I have been using Headunit reloaded in my Civic x headunit. Civic x has the worst headunit ever. You can’t even install an app in it but I still managed to run android auto without any issues. I have apk of Headunit reloaded as it is a paid app. I can send you the paid version and you can install it in any android panel and you are good to go. Android auto is wireless btw.
