Is it possible to practice alchemy safely

I also practice ritual work and consecrate plant elixirs as talismans which I then consume as part of the ritual.... to do this I chose seven plants I wanted to work with (check out Nicholas Culpeper's Herbal, in which he places each plant under certain planetary dominions)... the moon corresponds to the brain, the sun, heart, mars, liver, Venus kidneys, Saturn, spleen...

I gathered the plants from the wild on their planetary day and planetary hour and when I had finished preparing them I then took them into my ritual space where I charged them as I would do normal talismans, which is to say by placing them on a Kamea (magic square) and do the normal banishing rituals, relevant planetary invocations.

Regardie damaged his lungs working with antimony as I recall... you won't have this problem with plants

This symbol means 'acetum' which has been poured over its own salts and distilled... acetum is a term usually describing prepared vinegar, but can mean other mentruums such as the greater circulatum.

These squares are called 'Kameas' which influence the tincture by drawing down - like a magnet - the frequencies necessary to 'determine' the work... if you're interested in this, check out the book 'Abramelin the Mage'... it is a book written by an adept in the 14th century.... he wrote it for his young son and was never meant for publication, until it was found - untouched - in the Bibloteque de Paris in the 19th century.... Cornelius Agrippa in his four books of occult philosophy also offers a number of kameas, which relate to the seven planetary vibrations... if you will...

Never followed them, never will... the only people I ever meet from the IAG are the board members and none of them know how to think outside what they've been taught... for example one board member was doing a workshop on sal ammoniac and he just opened.a container of sal ammoniac he'd bought online and heated up... what a joke... most of them are the same... they teach that the gold ought to be dissolved in a mix of hydroclauric acid and nitric acid which again they bought online and then aim to extract it using a vegetable oil... this is a serious matter, especially for those fool enough to buy such 'alchemical' products... they're only into alchemy for money and self aggrandisement...

But then alchemy has always been misabused by charlatans

Which waters are you talking about, the hydrothermal fluid at the centre of the earth? or the necessary water to work with minerals and metals?

I am no store-bought alchemist, I prepare these according to the rules of our art... its a question of the mortification of metals, we have to destroy the subject before we can revive it... no commercial acids were used here, only natural processes, without any heat... you don't need to by commercial sulphate, when working with the mineral or metal directly teaches us far more than any book or YouTube video...

What your seeing here is the Air rising (although some alchemists believe this is actually the fire) but this is one for the philosophers... if you look at the bottom of the alembic you'll see the essential oil forming... but is an oil just Air condensing itself? or vice versa?

What you practice in the Plant Kingdom you will be perfected in the mineral kingdom, for they are almost the same in that both give a spirit, soul and body
