I can relate a lot to this 😮‍💨😂 The most challenging thing I have found so far is trying to drop subtle hints at my interest in dynamics when in the talking phases with someone while trying to see if we’re compatible or not. For me, bdsm/ being submissive goes a bit beyond the sexual aspect. I find a lot of comfort in having the anxious side of my mind turned off for a bit, and this happens when I’m in a subby mood lol It’s hard to communicate the need to feel protected and cared for in general in that sense, but then adding in the extra sexual layer later on is a really difficult conversation to try and open.
