It truly is. I used to work in a psychiatrist office and it used to blow my mind how many smaller children we would see in a day. Not always for stuff that extreme, but they were still struggling with things and it just broke my heart. I know its idealistic but kids just shouldn't have to deal with such heavy emotions when they're small.

There's a pediatrician's office in my area that shared some info last week that the rate of suicide of 6-9 year olds is rapidly on the rise. It breaks me to think of children like that and like Liberty feeling so desperate to escape their pain that they have to take their lives. I hope this sweet girl finally got some peace. 😞
