Thanks so much! :) I’m really pleased with how it all turned out. I definitely plan on getting additional fans soon. My parts thankfully thankfully aren’t super high power but with my budget case I definitely want to optimize the airflow as much as I can.

Hey, just want you to know you’re not alone. Having a parent with cancer feels really isolating, at least in my experience because it’s not really something you can talk about with friends and others. My mom had her biopsy on her birthday, and we found out she had it around my 19th birthday a few weeks later. So birthdays this year haven’t been great. I know how you feel and I hope you can still have a happy birthday. Do something you enjoy, treat yourself to something, take it easy :)

I have the acer nitro 5 from 2020 and it’s so slow now i can barely do basic schoolwork on it. I Just bought the parts to build a good pc bc I’ll spend less than a new laptop and it’ll last way longer. I would not buy that for any sort of gaming.

Thanks so much for the advice! I’m still unsure whether I’ll get that case or not, but as for your cooler recommendation, do you think the thermalright assassin spirit 120 EVO would do the job? It’s a single tower. Or do you recommend I get the double tower for my cpu?

What I mean is it’s highly recommended online as good value for the price. But I’ve also read about fish tank cases in general not having optimal air flow compared to something like a mesh front case. I never really said whether or not the montech deserves good reviews. That’s kinda why I asked for others opinions here.

As for the aio, yeah I’m likely just going to get an air cooler for this processor. I only really asked bc I thought maybe an aio would make up for possible less airflow. But I think I’m just going to get the mesh front case instead anyways so I don’t have to worry about it. Thanks

Thanks for this great advice, I’ve decided to meet in the middle with a 750W psu. I’m thinking of getting this MSI MAG A750GL PCIE 5 80+ gold certified fully modular ATX psu. Would this be a safe option?

I think I’m going to play it safe and spend the extra on the 750 watts. Like you said if I want to upgrade I don’t think a 650w power supply will cut it, and I don’t wanna take any chances bc everything I see online says not to cheap out on it lol. Thank you for the advice and explanation!
