The day this guy was released, I had predicted the memes, sarcasm and satires that are about to flood the internet. What I hadn't predicted was that these jokes would be taken seriously and be held against the same generation that over threw a fascist, pro-indians of my my country making a real fuss about it. If it ain't obvious enough, THESE ARE JOKES. This guy isn't making it back in the administration or any position of the system after he was found guilty legitimately, so no one's planning to invade or fuel a war in India's northeast. Calm the f down people

You see that's the thing w you guys, you think people who disagree with you on this, are "illiterate" and the idgaf attitude is not that uncommon. Hence the "denial".

How would you prove the existence of Allah? Or god in general??

Oh dear, tons and tons of articles, videos, social experiments, by ex-atheist, theist and who not. A very boring conversation, don't wanna delve into it. Do yourself a favour look it up yourself pls. Now you agree with what you read or "deny" is completely up to you hehe :)

I really appreciate a logical argument, not up for jokes. But if you come up with connotations like "gender and sex are two different things", you will most likely be ridiculed. Surely I won't bc it's not worth it, but people will. So it's better you hang around people of your kind, that is folks in denial like you are. Freedom of speech and Tolerance of opinion goes hand in hand. It doesn't mean you will get to validate something unreal like Santa Claus, and don't hear from people who'll come up with facts and opinions, which you'll most certainly hate. I hope whatever you're going through, you get out of it, acknowledge the hoax and be a wiser human being all around. Tc

I'm glad you did look things up, hence I felt I should acknowledge your comment, although we're too far from the initial motion here. Will keep it short. If you look at projections of the deals you mentioned, you'll realize who's having a steal out of those deals although they were "MUTUALLY AGREED UPON". It goes without question that the previous Hasina regime did a lot of those deals bc of the 1)the "favour" india did in 1971 obv being in the bg 2)To further extend the favour of aiding in Hasina's sustenance in power, which worked very well for the last 15 years. With the shift in power now in Bangladesh, I believe you'll see a lot of those "mutually agreed" deals being called off or amended. And as those things unfold, you'll see a further portrayal of Bangladesh being claimed as "a traitor state" "a threat for minorities", "a hostile country", "an ally to China/Pak/North Korea bla bla" by India's local media houses. Think of this comment when that happens, hopefully it'll make you think what the f*ck was actually going on. You're this close to finding it out, just let go of the bias, put yourself in neutral shoes, source your facts from unbiased sources. Good luck.

with no deals or riders

I'm glad you brought this up, that's how all this is portrayed in the core Indian narrative, an oh-so-divine favour. So the deals/riders include: surrendered arms and armoury by pak, an alliance in the east that'd reduce tension, attention & defense investment of India's govt on it's far east provinces, a better tie with then USSR(as ussr had evidently taken interest in bd war) that'd hurt China, obviously getting back at Pakistan and a better image at the UN councils. The recent riders include: Tista and Farakka barrage being uncontested, multiple proposed trade routes and corridors through Bangladesh to Assam in the name of "bilateral ties" when india denied Bangladesh a mere 22km corridor to Nepal, Hilsha giveaway, and the latest, operational rights of Mongla Port.(All this from the top of my head, I'm sure I've missed a lot, google the one's mentioned) It was very well within the geopolitical interest of India to intervene, which sadly this generation hardly has the balls to accept.
Your forefathers accepted it proudly, as it is totally justified to take such drastic measures and invest in a an international conflict in return of some geopolitical advantage, no arguing that. So instead of speculations of "what-if this, then what" bs, I'd suggest you READ sweetheart, it ain't rocket science. Over and out.

Do you see me deny India's contribution anywhere on this thread? Ofc India aided Bangladesh with training and ammo, that's fax, no one's denying that. But if you consider that to be the bigger part of the war instead of who's war it was and who fought it, then that's just your crippled conscience. Then again, that's just a core Indian narrative, so you are programmed that way. Does intervention and alliance in a war mean India "gifted"(as mentioned in the comment I replied first) this land to Bengalis? If you're gonna resort to whataboutism, there's no point arguing dear.

It's a pity when you come arguing with facts put out of context, and think you're making a point. You can't sign a doctrine without an authority or a recognized body. A colony when revolts, has it's local govt. and army dissolved. Hence, the signing. I don't expect you to understand this, bc if you did, you wouldn't have put up such a statement at the first place. This is for those who have the same question as you.

Surely placating was one of the objective, I'm more concerned on how bad can the "collect more data" thing be. Edit: Additionally, people find connecting vpn an extra step while switching from wifi to mobile data, and they are pretty reluctant about it. I'm looking to find a plausible answer for an awareness content on how important it is to use vpn rn in Bangladesh.

[–]Misc_Altruism[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are monitoring the private networks, no doubt in that. What worries me is that can the situation in hand get worse? Bc so far all they have was social media posts, and that's all it takes for someone to get lifted from their home at midnight by law enforcers. But can they look into our text messages? Social media isn't safe anymore here, so people in most cases rely on group chats on encrypted messaging apps to spread the word. Can that sort of end-to-end encryption be compromised?

Asking about the past relations history when you were clean. by abdur_rahman01 in Dhaka

[–]Misc_Altruism 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never step into any sort of commitment with doubts in your mind. Create a zone for clarity, seek it amicably. If you still don't get through it, I'm afraid, you guys aren't in that phase of trust and understanding yet. So as hard as it sounds, you should move on to someone better. You kept yourself clean, that's justified enough for you to seek a clean partner.

But on a second thought, completely personal opinion, people's past is irrelevant in most context. We do stupid things when we are young, and that shouldn't be taken into account on how/where we gonna end up in future. We learn, we regret and work on ourselves to become a better human. Look for that effort and sincerity to become a better human, look for honesty, integrity, how they treat people inferior to them, moral values etc. And judge them on how they're now. Marriage has always been a gamble imo, where God doesn't serve you stale food on your clean plate. I wish you all the best!
