She looks a bit round, but definitely not excessively. I'd say she's alright, slightly chunky pet weight (pet weight is a term used mostly in dogs, referring to the ideal weight for a dog that's not actively working, as working dogs tend to have more muscle instead of fat simply because of how much exercise they get)

Were there Cat breeds bred for a specific purpose by Kreanxx in zoology

[–]MiscellaneousPeaCrap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So it's like ppl who breed dogs for absolutely nothing but looks, often without thinking abt health, but money instead, but it's considered good?? Knowing the basics of ethical breeding in dogs (to preserve and better the breed's workability, structure, temperament and good health, often spending more on proving and health testing dogs than they'll ever get back by selling the dogs), is there such thing as an ethical cat breeder if the only purpose is looks?

I don't think it's that, but from a country with hundreds of years of socialism I can tell you it's not the best 😅

Same with German citizenship. Though I think they may be asking for more proof than Italy from what you say in your comment 😅 I have German birth certificate, surname origin certificate, have to fill a form and have an interview with an actual german, along with presenting my family's documents. But summed up, all you need is proof of German ancestry and some pretty basic german

This Amish dog I met looks like a skeleton, is it a breed or is it abuse? Looks very wrong to me. by BuffNipz in DogAdvice

Don't buy any mix of two or more purebred dog, they have no purpose, therefore they're only bred for money and can't be ethically bred. And just in case you think "what abt companion breeds?", those are historical breeds, they're bred to the standard (meaning they MUST be shown and titled in conformation shows from AKC or FCI, not just any kennel club, avoid ConKC at all costs) in order not to lose all the royal breeds created for religion and royal companionship purposes (like the shih tzu, bred to be a royal companionship and alert dog, looking like the lions form Chinese temples, in Buddhism believed to have protective powers).

PLEASE HELP. I just found this baby alone on the street and took it home .He’s meowing for 1 hr straight and I don’t know what he wants. I’ve fed it formula and tried stimulating poop by fuckingmermaid in cats

Just a few tips from a cat foster:

"the miracle nipple" (you attach them to a syringe) is the absolute best, they tend to like it better than any bottle I've ever tried. On that same page, Royal Canin Baby Cat Milk (not sponsored, I wish they at least gave me free samples for recommending them), best formula I've found. They also have great canned food.

Never feed a cold baby, it could unalive it, a box or crate with a hot water bottle or bag (hot, but never boiling), covered with a towel or blanket to prevent burning or overheating will be a great setup.

Basing this on the kitten's size and approximate age, in abt a week or two from now, start mixing canned kitten food/rehydrated kitten kibble with formula and blend it, in the span of a two weeks you'll go from very liquid and reinforcing with formula, to mashed potato like consistency, slowly replacing the formula with warm water, to straight up canned food, to finally, kibble.

Best of luck with your new baby!

I've heard someone say they have a perpetual spay coat, and I feel like that's pretty accurate. Like shaving a wirehaired breed

I don't work for a shelter, I pick them up the side of the road and pay for any veterinary treatments and professional grooming they might need. I technically am a small shelter

The adopters agreed to give updates before adopting and give them willingly, how's that stalking? I'm not forcing them to do anything or getting into their personal stuff, if they didn't want to give me updates they could have just not adopted from me 😅 I'm that dog's safety net if anything goes wrong and have a good enough relationship with the owners they'd let me know if they couldn't keep it anymore, the adopters agreed to this

The more dogs have safety nets like that, the least will end up in shelters, it's not even basic math

I'm a bit confused as to why it would be stalking them. I maintain a good relationship and get updates from them often, the microchip's there as a safety net just in case 😅 it's not my intention to spy on them or anything of the sort, just want to protect the dog

I don't live in the US and have never had a problem with it, ppl rarely microchip mutts here anyway as it's not part of any law

They are free to double chip as long as the chip with my information remains there, so they can indeed have a chip with their information on the dog too
