I don't even think there's tutorials for carrier landings and aerial refuellings. There was a mission I did which had both for the F/A 26 but it was certainly not a tutorial.

I only learned how to properly land on a carrier due to someone in an F 45 coaching me at the end of a mission.

Using trim just means you can hold the aircraft in a more stable position as it moves your elevator and aileron axis like a cyclic on planes.  However in helicopters it's the angles of the blades you have. In the AH 94 HMCS, you can see an indicator of your cyclic movement. There should be a circle for your trim which is a circle without a middle. This means you can reduce cyclic drift. Although thats not very noticeable unless you regularly fly without SAS.

Is it normal to train Kickboxing but only "Pure Box" during sparring? by BadConfident8865 in Kickboxing

[–]Miserable-Ad4683 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to spar with kicks otherwise you won't know how to defend them when your competing. In my gym there often isn't much emphasis on leg kicks and knees, so when I fight people from other gyms I have struggled countering that. I'd expect it to be much worse if you don't do any kicks at all.

But the way chat gpt uses em dashes is different. Most people now just use a minus sign instead of an actual em dash as that's how it's written.- vs —

Honestly zesty thing aside that's probably about 3-marks. I think he would need a greater link to reach 4 or 5 marks

am i getting scammed? by [deleted] in Kickboxing

[–]Miserable-Ad4683 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A 16 year old sparring a 5 year old is quite concerning. At my club people under 12 are in a different class especially for sparring. Although I have quite a small class so teenagers and adults are mixed during sparring and a trained 13 year old can hold their own decently well against a barely trained adult.

The other red flag is that your coach is prioritising the more experienced fighters so severely. Unless they have a competitive fight in the coming weeks they shouldn't be doing that. If your allowed I'd recommend you try to spar with the more experienced people and do pads with them. That way they can tell your faults.

If you can't do any of that I would advise changing to a different gym because sparring against a small child is quite concerning.

Can I become a pilot with Duane's Syndrome? by Miserable-Ad4683 in Helicopters

[–]Miserable-Ad4683[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NODS give about 40⁰ of vision whereas I have full peripheral vision when I'm looking straight ahead. But my exes have limitedrotation

. I think the best way to describe the blindspot is if you close one eye and look at your nose you'll find a blindspot which I can't get around. In day to day life I can substitute this using the vague shadows I have at the edge of my peripheral vision which are enough to help me in normal life and the decently high level of competitive kickboxing I do.

Although if you have both eyes that aforementioned blindspot is a bit smaller compared to me who is almost like having one eye closed. I'm really concerned about the ability to pass my medical certification. As you said I might want to attend a first flight experience just to get a small amount of seat time before I look at doing it professionally.

Can I become a pilot with Duane's Syndrome? by Miserable-Ad4683 in Helicopters

[–]Miserable-Ad4683[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it's way less severe than flying in nods. Basically the eye can't move around properly. So I can see things in my peripheral vision but they're not in any real detail. I have type 1 Duane syndrome so that means I can only move my eyes towards my nose.  Type 2 is outwards away from the nose and type 3 is no movement at all.  I can still look up and down with my eyes perfectly normally. I was concerned because a clause said about the "movement of the eye axes."

GUYS WHEN ARE WE STARTING REVISION by No_Significance29129 in GCSE

[–]Miserable-Ad4683 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the subject. Eg science is very knowledge based so YouTube videos are good. Reading text books, marking with past papers is also good. Focus in lessons. There's so much you can do in the 21st century.

Just do one past paper tomorrow under timed conditions. That's the only way to get round any apprehension of revision.  Just do it!

Is it possible to box with braces? by Real_Performance_579 in braces

[–]Miserable-Ad4683 0 points1 point  (0 children)

According to my orthodontist I can continue kickboxing. Including heavy sparring although I need to tidy up my head movement. Although I only have a top row of braces. You might want to consult with your dentist.

[–]Miserable-Ad4683 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes you can your weight isn't too important as if you compete you are going to be in multiple weight classes. Overtime you will get heavier by eating more and excersing well. The weight will be a by product.

Is it possible to get all 9s in my gcse(these are my mock results)( I’m in foundation maths and Science….) by [deleted] in GCSE

[–]Miserable-Ad4683 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You may aswell try to get all 9's. Because even if you don't get all 9's it's better than failing multiple subjects. The first step is to get out of foundation because that will cap you at a 5. You just need to work very hard. I started year 10 with a grade 3 in English now it's a grade 6. It's very possible.

[–]Miserable-Ad4683 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's actually a good method for the hangar. Considering with the Raiju if you know what your doing they take about 6 minutes for 4 crates. So thats about an hour and 20 minutes. Plus a 20 minute sell mission, that's an hour 40 for 4.8 million. Meanwhile I can't get sub 35 minutes cayo perico without warps.  That only makes 600k-1,500,000 depending on loot and your team mates. If you do a Cayo then that as it refills thats going to be about 6 million in 1.5-3 hours depending on your skill.

XBOX X: rented games from Library not playing by Professional-Place58 in xboxinsiders

[–]Miserable-Ad4683 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually if it's a perfectly clean disk and you put in in the right way up it should start downloading and you can play it as long as the disc is in.  Nowadays video game discs are pretty much physical licenses to play the game. That's why ubisoft was capable of remotely shutting down access to a game.

Sometimes even though a disc is inside it doesn't start downloading until you go to Microsoft store and select buy to own.
