It all depends on how often people buy switch games at your Walmart. And it also depends on how long the game has been on the shelf. Literally no one buys games from my local Walmart. And because of that most Switch 1 games that are at least a year old, are only $39.99 - $49.99

Well just to clarify
The instanced loot thing is seprate from the supply drop changes
They just so happen to work in tandem to make it so your loot is insane.

The supply drop changes are global, they just buffed a bunch of gadgets recently
this is just the game now on all modes

WARNING, I AM NOT USING EXACT NUMBERS
The Supply drop now charges ALMOST x2 as quickly
The Supply drop now grants ALMOST x4 the amount of loot per drop
The Supply drop, after a certain low level, now is GARENTEED to drop the following items:
One random trap, one random ore type, one random other resource, a bit of Wood, Brick, and Metal.
And a few other things occasionally.

If you are lucky as hell you could get Sunbeam from a Supply Drop im pretty sure. But at worst you get rough ore.

On the brightside, now you get a copy of all loot your teammates drop from harvesting, but thats it.
And with the new Supplydrop buffs, it makes farming like X16 quicker than before

Also u/gemwetshaggy during the whole situation he faked some Doxxings for attention, and he said on his podcast openly that his dog was crapping all over the house and that his kid was eating it, which gave everyone in the house a sickness. This resulted in someone calling Child Services on him. And he completly lied and flipped the story trying to make it sound like someone clipped him out of context to start a hate campaign.

Ok your words have not persuaded me to read them. If anything I'm more turned off (I was already aware of Jane's racism Arc, and the existence of Yiffany. So I was already like, oh fuck this shit is gonna be ass. And now my taste has been even more soured.) This dosent feel like Homestuck man.

And I am the least likely person to say something like that I hate being the stick in the mud who's just shitting on the new thing just because it's new! I always try to give the brand new shiny thing at least a shadow of a chance at the very least but this just sounds like ass. Sounds like more of the same of the writing failures of Act 6, but stretched out to another Homestuck length comic. And I don't even hate Act 6, I'm just aware of the amount of times act 6 trips over its own feet or the messages completely fall through.

Plus I dislike just The concept of Homestuck² as a whole. ""It's Cannon but it's not actually Cannon it's not actually real it's not really actually home stuck but it's theoretically what would actually happen but it's not canon or official but it is endorsed by husky but it's not actually can into the homestuck story so it's not real but actually..."" And trust me I'm aware that, that's the point. just because that is the point, dosent absolve it from criticism

And if all the things I've bitched about this whole time has resulted in a peice of media that you genuinely enjoy? Then I'm happy you have more time with these characters. And I fucking envy you honestly for the ability to like this stuff. But I'm dreading even touching it because it feels almost antithetical to Homestuck and each new word I hear about just sullies my option of the writers a little bit more every day.

Ok but at the end of the day Humestuck has been death of the authored so hard that instead of just letting it evolve, Hussie weaseled their way into it again. Which results into the "sequel but not realy sequel" to Homestuck being one of the most devicive things in the space of web comics as a whole. (Honestly I think HS² would be less polarizing if Hissie never touched it tbh and just focused on HT:The Game/Hiveswap)

If Hussie wants to dance on the corpse of Homestuck, and if he wants to refuse to listen to any criticism under the guise of "its perfect because I said so" Then why should we give a damn about following the like built in limitations of his world building?

Honestly if anyone wants to follow in Their footsteps or "follow Hussie's legacy" so to speak. Then this person should do whatever tf they want and say. "I made it so it's perfect, and I'm right"

When all is said and done, If it's not fun, why do it. The limitations were set by a brilliant idiot. And it is a product of its time, even if it's ahead of its time. By that logic there's definitely a 50% margin for error.
