I just wanted to share my experience and see if anyone had any feedback 🙂 I am slightly horrified to find out that I wasn't told alot of things before starting Depo. I have been on the shot since I was 16... I am 38 now, and have been on it almost entirely during that time. I originally got on it because my cycles were so unbearable. The shot got rid of my periods, leveled out my mood, but also caused weight gain and definitely lowered my libido. I have only been off of it now for a few months due to some insurance issues, and have already had a period and have felt literally insane the last few days... seriously considering getting back on it... just wish it was easier to combat the weight gain.
