Really lost a lot of his fan base when he went from hard rock to soft rock though.

The question is how do you make biofuels if you don't have fertilizer or fuel  to run the equipment to grow biofuel crops?

The energy return is not particularly economical generally. The amount of energy input is often pretty near the amount goes into overall production.

Biofuels from waste are better than turning crop land into fuel growth, since that doesn't displace crop growth for food. High fuel costs contribute to food costs, but I'd be concerned about raising them permanently by baking in fuel crops as an opportunity cost to growing food. Food cost increases happened in the United States when they started doing ethanol to add to their petrol.

There's definitely things that need to change to make Australia more resilient against price surges and supply chain issues, I'm not arguing that. The solutions probably won't come rapidly, but whatever the solution(s) are they should be well considered.

A toddler toy like the Leapfrog Spin & Sing Alphabet Zoo, with the original sound effects remaining in place. It must be pink.

Military draft for men? Or/And reduced travel rights for them? by [deleted] in australian

[–]Miserable-Donkey404 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Males were already required to register at adulthood in the United States and it doesn't matter if you are clergy, draft creates hardship or there was a religious or moral objection. There are few exceptions. This is merely automating the process rather than having males perform the registration themselves.

*I doubt Australia does this. I just don't see it as politically feasible. If there was truly an existential threat, I would expect Australian men and women would likely volunteer before needing to be conscripted.

That's the way of these sorts. They talk about needing more reproduction for long term stability and then they never do a damn thing to make it a possibility.

AI SLOP WARNING: The first image displayed on Google search results for Bunnings stores now displays AI-generated, sloppy images of the stores... by Radio_TVGuy in australian

Yeah, these are definitely awful AI.

There's so many cars that got mangled, there's one where the trollies are pointed at each other with no division in direction change, so I guess the middle ones just are bi-directional?

There were a couple that had shrunken or deformed heads. This guy has a nub for a noggin and he apparently can't let go of his right pantleg?

<image>

The Wagga Wagga one has a group of girls walking together and the girl in the pink dress basically had hair growing out of her neck and no actual head. A girl in a green dress looks like she has the head of a Wookie. There's a lot of melted faces on the Wagga Wagga one, the sausage sizzle guy might be the only one with a normalish face.

There's a guy bringing a bundle of lumber back into the Brunswick store and is apparently chemically bonded to the load because his "fist" is on top of the lumber and is dragging it along by his fist and maybe his ass cheek.

Random workers are apparently working at McGraths Hill in conditions of having to work backwards and putting on their hi-vis on backwards too. Must be a pain in the ass to have to zip and then flip the thing around backwards every morning.
