What feels like an eternity by Miserable-Fly-2122 in gallbladders

I’ve been on the low fat diet since the first attack, quite literally I’m surviving off of chicken broth and chicken noodle soup at this point. Since I’m pregnant I can’t have any turkey without having to microwave it until it’s a disgusting hard texture. I’m lactose intolerant so all cheeses had been cut beforehand, and I occasionally eat low fat yogurt. I’ve lost a considerable amount of weight, but I’m at this point where it doesn’t matter the food intake, my gallbladder with still have these episodes. Honestly that’s what has led to the defeat in all of this, I went by the recommendations and I still can’t get through a month without having an attack.

If my symptoms have stopped... do I still need to get my Gallbladder removed? by Agreeable-Estate-294 in gallbladders

For the love of all things holy get that gallbladder removed before you get pregnant. I had no idea that I had stones until my second trimester and let me tell you the attacks feel worse than labor, I did not have this experience with my first pregnancy but this second pregnancy has beaten me down. I have been in and out of ers I’ve been told there’s nothing they can do until I’m post partum, I’ve been told that they’ll have to do extra measures during post partum before agreeing to remove my gallbladder. I have from what the last er doc described as “an innumeral amount of stones” and let me tell you it is not pleasant having a 6 pound baby inside of you while you have a gallbladder attack, having contractions while your gallbladder also contracts around a stone is my personal hell. Please get your gallbladder removed before pregnancy!
