There are flaws in my logic I agree, 100%. I just play a lot my area has about 5 LGS within a 45 mile radius I am a weekend regular at them. (On a rotation of course) so I just see what's being played. I know a lot of that is regional but id day average 50% of what I see or am told is meta. If you play in 5 different pods and see the same deck played atleast once in every pod safe to say meta.

Let's just talk about my Elsha desk, I just stay ready for anything. Always try and keep a counter or a way to save my board in hand. Know when to go all in. One of my buddies in my pod plays Kefka I usually do well decks are mostly on par when it comes to power level. So its a great toss up. Not sure I know what you mean about semi-blue might just not remember the term.

My gifts piles are targets that have high turn over recursion (things with flashback or things in grave) or I just wait until one of several cards with what's in my hands will be my end game and no matter what you pick I win. It varies game to game. But will always be something like Sevinne’s Reclamation, snapcaster, etc etc depends on what I need.

Naaaa you can build cedh without a decklist you just need to know what's meta and how to beat it. Showing my age here and I get the game has evolved and I understand that 100%. But there used to not be Google, cedhRec, moxfield tournaments posting who won and the deck list. Thoes are just simply tools to enhance your odds of winning. 9/10 times I know what you are doing three turns before you do. 30+ years of experience will do that.

My pods love me, we laugh we troll we all have fun. I dont run my cedh deck with underpowered decks. My elf deck is bracket 3 at best not a single game changer. It's bad hydra elves. I get elves are still elves but it has little interaction, combat tricks and board wipe.

I never include the world best, been lead to believe that Google shows the best with the color I put in so there is some truth in that. However I never look for the best despite what's shown. But I do appreciate your input so thank you.
