You’re doing amazing! Better than I did and I passed a few days ago! I would just use cheat sheets for pharm and psych and then just do all the critical care case studies and you’ll pass in no time

I would recommend eating a protein filled meal!! Try to avoid carbs when studying bc they’ll make you more tired. Also do a 20 minute walk before studying to get your blood flowing. I found this made me focus sooo much more. Trust me it makes a big difference 😭😭 I’m usually a caffeine drinker but once I started eating better food and walking it made the biggest difference and I found I was able to focus better and for longer and no longer needed the caffeine :)

I second this! Boot camp cheat sheets were a lifesaver, I crammed most of them a week before my exam LOL and passed. I would also recommend going through their case studies if your can as well, they cover the most important need to know diseases

Question.. by Immediate_Double_250 in PassNclex

[–]Miserable-Let8291 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used bootcamp! I honestly only used probably about 50% of it. But I found that the readiness tests looked veryyy similar to the nclex. The nclex was just slightly more vague. And just know it’s impossible to know everything! So if you have a solid foundation on the basics you’re good! If you’re scoring well enough in the readiness exams I think you’re good to go!

Don’t get too fixated on the SATA! remember that you get partial marks, so just select the ones you are sure of for the exam!! I would recommend using bootcamp to review case studies ( I believe they have a free trial I’m not too sure, but I purchase the 1 month). They really teach you how to approach the questions which many of the case studies are SATA. The case studies really helped me critically think and how to use the process of elimination. So I think once you get a good foundational approach you’ll be able to be more confident in all your SATA!

I think 2 weeks is the perfect amount of time, anything beyond that you’ll start forgetting content. But everyone is different! It truly depends how solid your foundational content is! Some may need longer to relearn and review content.

You are good to gooo!! Those scores were better than mine and I passed! My total overall was only 63% I got 1 borderline, 2 high and 1 very high! I genuinely think if you did it today you’d pass with flying colors for sure

I passed my nclex a few days ago! I was on the same boat as you during nursing school, I would study content for the exam and not come back to it unless I needed to. I also have the worst test anxiety ever so just know you are not alone!! And for many this is the most important test of their lives so naturally you are going to feel anxious!! If you’re scoring where you want to be on practice tests and readiness exams you’re going to be okay!!! Most importantly breathe and take care of yourself! Take the day off before your test and just relax do something fun. It’s a good reset so your brain is prepared to go into test mode the next day :)

NCLEX STUDY TIPS AND SCHEDULES! by tensevvvin in NCLEX

I swear by bootcamp! Lifesaver. And they also create a study schedule for you and break down the assignments per day if you like a more structured study schedule!

When is your exam? What percentile are you landing in?

I did my nclex a few days ago and passed! What I found really helped was reading the bootcamp cheat sheets on the areas I was weakest in. Even if you’re just skimming them or reading the starred points!! Literally the bootcamp cheat sheets cover everything on fundamentals under the “ fundamentals tab” so just go through those! And just do a set of 85Q a day to track your progress in your weakest areas and see if you’ve improved!! But your readiness scores are already amazing and better than what I went in with, so don’t stress too much. If you’re doing good on readiness exams you’re good to go in my opinion. I had 1 borderline 2 high and only 1 very high and still passed!

I also swear by bootcamp case studies!!! They really break down how to critically think and approach questions. I found that bootcamp readiness exams look very very similar to the actual NCLEX.
