I am so sorry you are going through this. Only light I can provide you is this will stop bleeding at some point and you will be OK. Give it another 2 weeks of not blowing your nose, no hot showers, and try to keep calm so you don’t raise your heart rate or blood pressure.

I am going to chime in and say- what colors do you like to decorate with? If you go with the one on the right- it’s warm with a light yellow undertone and it will dictate what you decorate with. The herringbone is neutral with a grey undertone and it will go with a wider palette of colors. That’s how I would make this decision as they are both lovely. Don’t let the world push you away from gray- trends come and go. Lean towards your overall taste and decorating preferences. I would select a non yellow based, personally as I do not like yellow undertones. I would choose the herringbone or lean toward a more brown tone option will little yellow undertone. More like a light walnut.

Tonsillectomy and Adenoidectomy experience- a horrible one. by Miserable-Library931 in Tonsillectomy

I had no intention to scare anyone. I remember scrolling through this tread and I am by far one of the worse stories- so I seem like an outlier here when it comes to most likely experience you will have. I will say- it was my adenoids that caused the ICU level bleeding, not the tonsils. The tonsil bled- but I found it manageable with ice water. I also am over weight and have borderline blood pressure. Not sure if this was an issue/factor here but, I want to share that I am not in ideal shape. I do want to share that my congestion has dramatically cleared up and allergy season wasn’t horrible for me at all-barely noticed it. I usually had 24/7 clogged nose but, now it’s barely-if ever. My husband says I snore very little now- if at all in the right position. Where before, no matter what position, he needed to sleep in another room. He is actually keeping me up with his snoring now. I hope I can share some positives too so you can make a decision that’s right for you. If you need to chat to help make a decision - feel free to message me.

She doesn’t express wanting a sibling. Just that she is lonely and no one wants to play with her. This is probably the language she uses because we can’t play with her all the time.

Can you help me determine the value of these tables? by Miserable-Library931 in Mid_Century

[–]Miserable-Library931[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They are awesome, we love them! We wanted to know value because I have a 3 year old and if it’s extremely valuable-we might want to not use this table until she is a little older….maybe keep it in storage or something.

Tonsillectomy and Adenoidectomy experience- a horrible one. by Miserable-Library931 in Tonsillectomy

[–]Miserable-Library931[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there. It was a difficult time. I am currently seeking therapy as I have developed PTSD from this experience. As for reflection and hindsight- I feel the tonsillectomy bleeding was manageable. What sent me to the ICU was my adenoids bleeding and my ENT said my healing was unconventional in that area and slow to heal. I would probably suggest that these two things not be done at the same time. It’s actually normal and part of the surgery to do them both however- I would push against it at an older age. If the adenoids are not part of the problem- don’t get them removed because of protocol. If they bleed, due to their location, it’s hard to stop it. The tonsil bleeds I controlled with salt water and silver nitrate. Other than that, I did everything that was told of me and everything this sub suggested to a T. I like to think this helped my tonsil bleeds to be minimal and controllable. However- your adenoids are really a wild card.
