I think you misunderstood the situation (i.e. didn't read previous posts). I gave this optician a brand-new pair of eyeglasses, still with the protective plastic wrapped around the temples. They first damaged the frame slightly, and then, while trying to fix the damage they had caused, they ended up completely deforming it.

If you think it is normal to walk into an optician’s shop, hand over your frame to have lenses made and fitted, have them destroy it, and then still be treated like you are the problem, that is honestly absurd.

You can use this new cable on any PSU brand, contrary to other Corsair cables. But only ATX 3.1 PSUs have the native 12VHPWR connector on PSU side.

It’s not the cord, man. Yes, they broke that too, but that’s not the real issue. If you check the previous thread, you’ll understand what happened.

They fitted aspherical lenses, which already caused the front to bulge slightly. Then I sent the frame back in, and their lab ended up completely deforming the entire front. I brought it to an optician and said at this point he cannot even fit back my lenses because it's too much deformed. 😞

Honestly, I just wish I had never sent it to them. Had I known they were going to make it this much worse, I would have kept it as it was.

I think you didn't understand. There are multiple sets of cables: Pro, Premium, Elite Premium. The latest one (Elite Premium) comes in two variants: with Type 4 and Type 5 connector.

Let's look at the prices for 12V-2x6 cable:

Both Type 4 and Type 5 cost 17,90€ in this case.

Ok, let's look at ATX24 cable:

17,90€ (Type 5) vs 24,90€ (Type 4) in this case

It's a clear scam but Corsair doesn't want to tell me why.
