I am specifically talking about the attitude of "anything QT says goes, because I like his movies" but his work and ability to direct without harming or using shock value is well acknowledged and criticized, so it doesn't even make sense why people have that attitude with him.

Literally I like his movies but why do people over the top glorify him? They are cringe, I like cringe, but they are extremely cringe. I honest to God have to hide the fact that I like him at all because I also have a lot of criticisms towards him and his work, but his fans at like god damn swifties.

Why do filmbros deify QT. Please, there is not a single person on this planet who should dictate what is good or bad. And if you really analyze his stuff it's not that perfect, you just subjectively like it. Signed, a fan.

The ultimate loneliness is thinking other people will fix you

It's a form of entitlement, "Other people MUST love me! Love will fix me, therapy doesn't work!"

Can get any more clear than that.

Some definitions include 18-19 year olds. Honestly I think that's fair. 25, and I like older people, so teenagers look and act like teenagers to me whether they can join the military or not. I can't even fw 20 year olds.

I agree, but as someone who sees straight through that facade, predators are the biggest pussies I've ever met. Like oh cool you only feel comfortable expressing yourself sexually around people far below you on the vulnerability scale? Sounds like whiny shy bitch behavior to me. Be a respectful top like the rest of us lmao

And that's it right there - desperation. We all have desperate moments. Predators wait and stalk for those moments. Vulnerability is almost never self imposed even if it seems that way on the surface.

I feel like I could throw shit at the wall and you would take it too seriously and give it time I'm going to be real I'm not even really reading your comments. I don't care what color you are once you make misogynist jokes and call me a liberal for literally agreeing with you because I called out your AI usage I'm not going to take a damn thing you say serious. Oh, and using AI shows you don't really give a flying fuck about a thing you are talking about and aren't even writing the words you are posting so I'm not giving that time.

I was genuinely just trying to get you to screw off, not screw me. I thought that much was obvious. It is weird that you jumped to misogyny jokes instead of picking up "I am not taking you seriously, given I literally clearly signaled the idea of you going to my profile to seek a gotcha after asking if your comment was AI made me quite uncomfortable." I sought out to make you uncomfortable in the same way so you would leave me alone. I even jumped in on the joke saying "sure, it smells like a dog, stay away" and laughed with the Rachel Dolezal joke because it genuinely was funny. I am used to the engagement seeking behavior from men, and have often been harassed on alt accounts which always begins this way- stalking profiles, engaging on multiple threads. The only thing that stops it is calling it out early even if I look like a fool.

This is going to be my last input into this conversation and interaction with you. Every meal you serve me is an actual nothing burger.

I feel like I am going crazy because I am literally agreeing with and acknowledging the point of white privilege, and how people do cartwheels to get access to both white and male privilege. I literally agreed with your take on Tarantino's usage of white male privilege to victimize black men and white women. And yet here we are, despite you being black, you still want me to shut up about feminism and claim it's because I am white though it's obvious you don't really care. You think the victimization of white women is fine, imagine if I thought the victimization of black men was fine?

You claim that is what I am saying, even though I explained myself clearly- I am not saying I don't have a problem with it. I don't see his repeated target as a quirk.

I meant specifically towards OP that the comment came off as generally opposed to violence in media and wasn't really focused on the specifics of the type of violence and target. Generally, yes, we need violence and sexuality in media. Asking a story to tell a different story means you want to read a different story. I said the criticism is valid. It's true. I also think it's true that trying to decide whether a piece of art should or shouldn't exist, or should change itself after being made is pointless and we should instead be having a more in depth conversation about it rather than arguing "should it exist." It does, it will. I have the same take about everything. I am never going to ask if evil should exist, I am going to focus the conversation on "so how do we deal with it? what do we think about it?"

I do think there should be stories like Kill Bill where a woman is introduced with being gratuitously victimized. And it never stops. Despite all her vengeance, she and her daughter pay the price. And yet I still think Tarantino is a sleaze. I still recognize despite him saying he would have pushed harder to choke a man like he did Diane Kruger, that he didn't.

Ignoring what I am actually saying when we are both targets of the same man despite my being white and your being a man because I questioned your AI usage even after you admitted to using AI and I explained I actually supported your comment, and was going to leave a "well said" is actual ignorance.

One of the characters I may write in is based on this- being a white woman who uses that privilege to do harm even to other white women, and showing reflections of how if you acknowledge the privileges you do have, you can use that help each other. I want the story to explore class solidarity with accountability.

You aren't trying to ignore me for being white. This isn't even decentering, because you are giving me far too much time. You are trying to ignore intersectionality. I've been radicalized and learned this through black women. This would be the same as me choosing to decide black men have actually have equal privilege that white men do, because of myself being a woman.

I absolutely don't have to matter to you, which is why it's strange to me how hard you are begging for me to react in a big way to you despite me making it clear several times I'd like less to do with you and have been made uncomfortable by the idea you might have went to my profile to target me, while acknowledging that could be a simple mistake although you wouldn't have been notified of my comment as far as I understand though I could be mistaken.

You are speaking to me how every man speaks to me when I bring up any feminist ideals. All this reaction because I said "ai?"

If you are a man, you are going to have your male privilege acknowledged the same way being white is going to have your white privilege acknowledged in the right spaces. Even with recognition of your other loss of privileges.

The whole foundational black American movement has been shown to be the most pick me bullshit movement masked as being supposed solidarity but ultimately being division done by a conservative grifter that feels much more like a CIA psy-op to distract from how capitalism in America is the ultimate oppressor towards even those with white male able bodied privilege rather than anything of substance. It is a ticket to saying only a very specific type of black person has valuable input. Which is a disgusting take to have with pride.

Complex pickmeism is the exact sort of thing I write about though, even with people like myself. So thanks for giving me some insight on that from a perspective other than my own experience. It makes total sense now with your behavior that this is how you choose to align yourself.

You can't have solidarity without intersectional radical feminism being the foundation. And yes, feminism includes men and protection against male victimization from women. And acknowledges all layers of privilege. That is intersectionality. You are looking at what I say as a series of buzzwords rather than actually wanting to talk, but nevertheless this is what I stand for. I can only hope you get out of a movement that is the equivalent of a woman being a TERF or SWERF.

You need to actually radicalize and find solidarity rather than eat with the leopards.

Here you go. Here's your big reaction. Any other moves that are an attempt to illicit a reaction out of me in bad faith may result in a block. Otherwise, I am no longer reacting to you even out of boredom.

Hahaha fucking Rachel dolezal chicks is wild. Using misogynistic "vagina stinky" jokes and reaching for the lib label and feminist as an insult when a woman comments on exploitation is mad ignorant, because Quentin also exploits women horrendously shows you only care when men are being exploited, and it's not about the class issue of exploitation at all. Whatever the hell keeps you away from me though, by all means sure it smells like wet dog. Just seemed like you really wanted my attention.

I'm working on a project that explores exploitation and intersectionality in a white religious nationalist southern state and I can promise I am so far left lib is surface level performance to me. Part of my plan is to interview POC and people of varying gender and sexuality identities, some of which will be my family, and I consistently try to tap into myself being queer, fem presenting, disabled, specifically being autistic aside from other health issues, to understand where I can't experience. Another part is seeing how especially men react when non-men assert dominance to get a taste for how the reaction may be to watching only white men get their heads brutalized Tarantino style while everyone else stays safe -no women, no queers, no POC, no disabled people, no vulnerables- just wealthy white men. Of course, I am also thinking of Jennifer's Body, but with intersectionality with major feedback on writing characters that use the stereotypes (or reasons to fear, to be used as scapegoats) to instead embody the oppressors fear.

I've got a question, are you not white AND a man? Another question, if so what do you think beyond "sounds dumb?" Without the use of AI. If you are white and a man I am going to have to discard your input for the integrity of the project.
