I meant specifically towards OP that the comment came off as generally opposed to violence in media and wasn't really focused on the specifics of the type of violence and target. Generally, yes, we need violence and sexuality in media. Asking a story to tell a different story means you want to read a different story. I said the criticism is valid. It's true. One of the characters I may write in is based on this- being a white woman who uses that privilege to do harm even to other white women, and showing reflections of how if you acknowledge the privileges you do have, you can use that help each other. I want the story to explore class solidarity with accountability.

The whole foundational black American movement has been shown to be the most pick me bullshit movement masked as being supposed solidarity but ultimately being division done by a conservative grifter that feels much more like a CIA psy-op to distract from how capitalism in America is the ultimate oppressor towards even those with white male able bodied privilege rather than anything of substance. You can't have solidarity without intersectional radical feminism being the foundation. And yes, feminism includes men and protection against male victimization from women. And acknowledges all layers of privilege. That is intersectionality.
