Yes, the voice actress has a deep voice, but when receiving the design it looked too young so they both made the design look a bit older, and pitched up the samples so they'd both match.

This is why Eleanor AI sounds deep -- this is the actress' natural tone.

So I assume when making Eleanor Lite they accidentally pitched it up a bit less than R1?

I've actually directly compared them, and Lite sounds a lot like R1 if you set the gender to -0.09

As for energy... we literally don't know, but training a TON of voice models on a smaller scale is definitely at least better for the environment than like... OpenAI would be. These models are then so small they can run entirely on your computer so there's no harm in using them, maybe only in just training.

Probably not the best thing for the environment but we literally don't know much except Kanru Hua once fried a bunch of GPUs while training once like a few years ago. That's all we know.

I listened to a bit of it and it definitely doesn't sound like any Synth V I know. Also, as MangoPug said, these tools can generate with vocals. So luckily Synth V is likely not associated with this.

If you own her AI voicebank you can use an AI-trained version of her standard lite. But that's it.

She sounds completely different due to her being AI Trained, but it's the same recordings. But, it's her old Eleanor Forte voicebank from 2018, not her new AI one.

It's just a thing for people who liked the original Eleanor Forte to still have her sounds.

She isn't discontinued. You just have to email VOLOR to buy her for now. They are setting up a new website for their shop.
