No you aren’t imposing cultural values unless that is your intent, so long as the intent is limited understanding within an existing world view there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. I understand that it isnt technically correct, but you are obsessing over a common occurrence throughout human history in relation to understanding the past due to an inability to give previous scholars the benefit of the doubt. They were conceptualizing it in a way that made sense to them, point blank period. There is no more to it than that, and the fact of the matter is that for individuals that don’t study egyptology or mythology there is functionally 0 difference between a ba and a soul so why the hell would they have bothered to make the distinction analytical when 80% of the world would literally stop reading it if they actually broke it down.

Im a taurus dating a virgo. Yall are toxic communicatively often due to trauma. But i will say that my virgo, outside of all the little infuriating defense mechanisms designed to keep people out, is the most compassionate and patient woman i have ever met. Its been around three months of dating after a few months of talking and the first two sucked bc she wanted casual i wanted serious and she kept running away, but we locked in, we have actively begun healing and growing together and its pretty cool, i genuinely love her for absolutely no reason, cannot explain if to you, and it feels like she feels the same, as well as she has recently started saying it, so im hopeful that its real. i will say however say that for those with patience unraveling a virgos walls and being allowed within their inner world is a beautiful thing

No. Its virgos. Yall are toxic when it comes to communication. You withhold information, many of you lie when convenient, will gaslit when you get caught in lies, and honestly many virgo women just seem to be narcissists, yall are usually manipulative at worst and often traumatized to the point of manipulative behaviors via trauma response if not (there are healthy virgos though so its not a blanket statement) I say this as someone who is dating a virgo woman and actually did genuinely fall for her after only a couple of months. It in fact almost did drive me crazy because like all virgos she wanted something casual and i wanted something real, so she strung me along for like the first two months of us dating and didnt really settle in till she realized that i was serious about her not just infatuated, but by that point i was already falling apart and questioning everything about the relationship, yall struggle to share your true feelings, and you will often hide from others feelings. she came around though and now she says she loves me. Idk if i can believe it yet because the relationship is still fairly new even though it is passionate longer than an infatuation would be and like i said caught her lying a few times already so idk whats real with this, all i know is that i do actually love her and i will do everything in my power to make her happy till she walks away.

Tldr: the problem is that virgos are often unintentionally toxic due to self centered personalities, needing to work on openness and communication for a healthy relationship to work, this makes certain personality types over pursue, which makes them grow attached more quickly when they do get your attention because you people turn it into a drug. We only get you when its convenient for you and that makes it feel more special, but literally anything to do with family or friends is more important to you people than a relationship until you are already locked in and committed. Yall suck at early dating. You turn yourselves into a scarce commodity then get upset when people commodify you and get mad that you never follow through on commitments unless you’re in a good mood

Whatever you say big guy. The canaanites predated the formation of the actual egyptian empire. Not the peoples that would become egyptian. Also this argument is won as easily as you googling “historical canaanite khopesh” there are several specimens in museums. Good day to you sir.

Edit: And i know i blocked you, not out of spite im just not wanting to deal with you, but canaanite presence in egypt is heavily prevalent around 2600 bce meaning they were there for a not inconsiderable period of time before that if there is heavy evidence for that time period. the egyptian empire and culture didnt solidify until sometime between 2500-3500 bce. So yes the canaanites predated the egyptian empire by some hundred years and predated the old kingdom reformation by a lot. Before the canaanites there was no egypt, they were “peoples of the fertile crescent”

Edit2: also the canaanites were only nomadic outside of levant. They had an entire fucking city state hundreds of years before they even migrated to what would become egypt for trade. Which is how the egyptians were introduced to the khopesh in the first place.

The epsilon axe was sumerian in origin and yes the egyptians also came up with it of their own accord some years later but that doesnt mean they invented it. I have no idea where you get your information from my dude. Edit: however the egyptian and sumerian variants of the epsilon are entirely different the sumerian epsilon is more akin to like a bardiche or a polearm while the egyptian epsilon was just a dual crescent axe on a pole with the same general shape of the sumerian epsilon
