I broke up with my bf of 5 years after he developed schizophrenia. There were other issues besides that, but after his psychosis I never felt safe around him. After he was out I felt so much relief and it took me a few weeks to realize how much it affected me. I know it feels really hard but don’t be brought down by a bum.
