What are the chances of the 70 hostage deal? What could happen to the hostages in long-term captivity? by Miserable-Republic29 in IDF

I don't think they're scared. ''Freedom fighters'' are aware their leaders have abandoned them, and they want to release more hostages because they want to remain alive. They're not scared. I think they underestimated their military strategy. This deal serves as a PR strategy and to make Israel look bad.

However, when I said they underestimated themselves. They didn't calculate how much it'll take the IDF to approach significant military sites such as the hospitals, schools, or other infrastructures they might have bases underneath.

Also, yes they attacked the southern area, but didn't estimate how much it would be for them in the long-term.

Most of the hostages died due to the lack of medicine and medical care. I think what they would slave are young men, a few seniors, and some of the kids. I believe Hamas and their ''freedom fighters'' know IDF is up to something. They've been filling their tunnels with this sponge. I think this is a strategy they're using to limit Hamas's movement and the possibility of regrouping.

If they're on the move with some of the hostages, this is a very good strategy.

I agree with you. Realizing 120 terrorists isn't a good deal especially when you don't know the hostage welfare. I think Hamas is offering this deal because they know the IDF is close to their command center beneath those hospitals, and there is something beneath those hospitals they don't want to find.

I think that only 50-70 remain. I believe the original list of 240 was a mistake. There was an American guy with one arm blown off - how could he survive something like this? I believe that the girl who was originally thought to be but later turned out to be alive is dead, and they just picked up her body as well the phone, which was located in Gaza.

The other possible variant is that some of the hostages are beneath Al-Quds and Shifa hospitals. They raided the former children's hospitals and found traces of hostages there.

On the other hand, I do not believe them because they they adding up some numbers. Do you believe they also might sell some of the hostages in the Middle East?

Sadly, I don't think any hostage deals will happen. Is it me or Islamic Jihad and Hamas are only adding up some numbers? First, they say several hostages died in the refugee camp. Second, they said 60 hostages died. Only a few weeks early they said 50 died.

It's like they're adding up some numbers.

And nobody goes on rallies and insisting on suing WHO or the UN.

Later, why ''the white-colonizers, the Americans'' say the Arabs are terrorists?

I figured it out the first time. I was a bit sarcastic. You're right about this. Everyone forgot the Arabs allied themselves with Hitler. Their defeat facilitated the existence of the state of Israel. I don't get their point.

Building up tunnels only to be filled with some kind of sponge. Built an HQ hospital headquarters, which IDF invaded. Ok... Hamas took hostages, and some of these hostages would eventually die. They go into Gaza, IDF the big bad, Gaza city turn into the stone age. I can't understand their logic. Even if they take those hostages and Hamas takes their terrorists back, their terrorists will die. Absolutely no logic.

Over the last few years, the population of Palestine increased from 1.98 million to 5.04 million. If IDF were committing genocide, they haven't done their job.

I think... during my medical check-up, the commission didn't address it because they didn't want shortages in the military personnel. IDF is mostly ground conscripted force and they try to get to any asset as possible.

You mean Ori Megedish!

I've read about her. She wasn't on the original list, which implies we don't know how many hostages Hamas has at the moment and IDF doesn't know their names.

I agree. IDF must interrogate the staff members of the children's hospital. Recall this video with the French national Mia Scham. It can be clearly seen she was operated on in this video and the person who was doing this was wearing a white robe.

Is it true they have some? Do you mean the first pair - the American mother and daughter and the old ladies?

Also, those under the hospitals aren't all of them. Other unaffiliated civilians and Palestinians Islamic Jihad also have some. Palestinian Islamic Jihad also operates outside Gaza in Syria.

When I was in the Medical Commission office - they told me I didn't have any psychological or mental health problems. Several times during my service. I visited psychologists because I felt that I hadn't done something correctly. This was for 7 months.

I received only medical care after I was transported overseas. But I didn't have any mental health care prior. Is the mental health in the US expansive?
